    Monaghan 1-7 Down 0-18

Ryan McEvoy lands for Down with a fine effort.

  2. Half-timepublished at 14:43 Greenwich Mean Time 23 March

    Fermanagh 1-6 Laois 0-8

Ryan Lyons' point just before the half-time whistle is the difference and as things stand Fermanagh would be promoted to Division Two with Kildare and Clare both losing. Still a lot of football to be played.

  3. Postpublished at 14:42 Greenwich Mean Time 23 March

    Monaghan 1-7 Down 0-17

Stephen Mooney adds a point for Monaghan.

  4. Postpublished at 14:41 Greenwich Mean Time 23 March

    Monaghan 1-6 Down 0-17

Rory Beggan lands a two pointer.

  5. Half-timepublished at 14:40 Greenwich Mean Time 23 March

    Kildare 0-9 Antrim 0-14

Further two-pointers from Patrick McBride and Dominic McEnhill to close out the half leave Antrim five clear at the break. But with Sligo leading by nine over Leitrim, their chances of survival remain slim.

  6. Postpublished at 14:40 Greenwich Mean Time 23 March

    Monaghan 1-4 Down 0-17

Odhran Murdock curls over for Down.

  7. Postpublished at 14:39 Greenwich Mean Time 23 March

    Monaghan 1-4 Down 0-16

Ryan Magill fires over for Down to bring his tally to 0-4.

  8. Postpublished at 14:38 Greenwich Mean Time 23 March

    Cavan 0-10 Cork 0-15

James Smith has just scored from beyond the arc for Cavan but Cork are doing a fine job of keeping the Breffnimen at arm's length and stifling their promotion hopes.

  9. Postpublished at 14:38 Greenwich Mean Time 23 March

    Monaghan 1-4 Down 0-15

Michael Bannigan taps over a free for the first Monaghan score of the second half.

  10. Postpublished at 14:35 Greenwich Mean Time 23 March

    Monaghan 1-3 Down 0-15

James Guinness with a fine effort from range but with Cork beating Cavan and Louth well ahead of Meath, it looks as though this likely win for the Mournemen is going to come too late to save them. If results stay as they are, Monaghan are still going to be promoted alongside Roscommon who are comfortably beating already relegated Westmeath in Mullingar.

  11. Postpublished at 14:35 Greenwich Mean Time 23 March

    Fermanagh 1-5 Laois 0-8

A two-pointer from Killian Roche has brought Laois level in Brewster Park. Interestingly with both Clare and Kildare losing a win for Fermanagh would see them secure a final place.

  12. Postpublished at 14:34 Greenwich Mean Time 23 March

    Monaghan 1-3 Down 0-14

Two on the spin for Down at the start of this half with Ryan Magill shooting over a two pointer.

  13. Postpublished at 14:33 Greenwich Mean Time 23 March

    Kildare 0-9 Antrim 0-10

Patrick McBride's two-pointer has given Antrim the lead in Newbridge with 32 minutes gone but they still need a favour of Leitrim against Sligo.

  14. Postpublished at 14:32 Greenwich Mean Time 23 March

    Monaghan 1-3 Down 0-12

John McGeough shoots over for Down from a rebound after Rory Beggan has to stand tall to beat away a goal chance.

  15. Back underway in Clonespublished at 14:29 Greenwich Mean Time 23 March

    Monaghan 1-3 Down 0-11

  16. Postpublished at 14:27 Greenwich Mean Time 23 March

    Cavan 0-7 Cork 0-11

Cavan have made a fast start upon the resumption in Kingspan Breffni Park quickly reducing their deficit to just four points.

  17. Postpublished at 14:22 Greenwich Mean Time 23 March

    Fermanagh 1-3 Laois 0-5

A Paul Breen goal has the Ernemen in front in Brewster Park. They are playing their part but Kildare leading against Antrim still leaves Kieran Donnelly's side just short of the top two.

  18. Postpublished at 14:20 Greenwich Mean Time 23 March

    Kildare 0- 8 Antrim 0-4

Conor Stewart and Dominic McEnhill have raised orange flags for Antrim but they trail by four points in Newbridge. Sligo currently lead by six against Leitrim meaning that a win wouldn't even be good enough for the Saffrons should they turn things around.

  19. Half-timepublished at 14:11 Greenwich Mean Time 23 March

    Monaghan 1-3 Down 0-11

Micheal Bannigan brings his tally to 1-2 by tapping over a close range free.

Down played with the elements in that first half but will a five-point lead be enough?

The Mourne men need to win to have any chance of staying in Division Two for 2026 but as it stands despite winning they will go 'down' as Louth lead Meath and Cork are beating Cavan.

  20. Half-timepublished at 14:09 Greenwich Mean Time 23 March

    Cavan 0-5 Cork 0-11

The wind-assisted Cork hold a firm advantage at the break but as we've seen so many times this year, leads are easily eroded.

With Meath losing handsomely in Louth, a turnaround here could leave Cavan in the promotion places.

The full picture is not yet clear but stay with us to see how things materialise in the second half.
