The two Alpines are out of the points in this sprint but that's isn't stopping Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly grappling over 11th spot. Ocon is trying to shut out his team-mate but Gasly is still hanging onto to his rear wing.

Carlos Sainz is looking to close down George Russell after losing position to the Mercedes but this is helping Lewis Hamilton inch ever closer to the Spaniard.

The Mercedes looks quick and Carlos Sainz finds out just how pacy it is as George Russell sails through on the Ferrari with the help of DRS. Russell is up to fourth, Sainz goes down to fifth, but is still on the Silver Arrow's tail.

Max Verstapen says he is "clipping way too much" but the Red Bull is 0.801 seconds ahead of Oscar Piastri in the McLaren. The fastest lap goes to Lando Norris, who is trying to make up ground after the excitement of the previous lap.

Max Verstappen is holding firm in first place but here comes Lando Norris at the top of the hill. The McLaren sees his point and overtakes the Red Bull! Norris leads but Verstappen is back in front by the next corner. And now Norris has lost position to his team-mate Oscar Piastri!

Sergio Perez has dropped down to eighth place as Kevin Magnussen in his Haas has lifted himself up into the top 10 into ninth spot. Max Verstappen is leading the way, half a second clear of the McLaren of Lando Norris.
