  1. 6 runs

    Eng 123-6 (Woakes 26 off 18)published at 17.1 overs

Anwar Ali dropped Chris Woakes, then delivers the next ball of the match and is smashed for six... the ball landing on top of the stand. Not the best feeling in the world.

"It's been so good from Pakistan in the field but that's a drop. It was in the air for a long time - even the keeper was running back to try and get it but it was dropped by Anwar Ali coming in from third man."

"It was third man's catch. He got into a good position, got his hands there but then he dropped it."

Comical. Chris Woakes is deceived by a slower ball and slices a high catch to third man. There's three men going for the catch and the one who gets there first juggles it then drops it. Sloppy.

"Well that was a good shot - they'd just put a long-off in but that didn't bother Woakes, he got under it and it sailed way over the fielder into the stand."

  6. 6 runs

Mahoosive! Chris Woakes gives himself room and chips Mohammad Irfan for a maximum over extra cover. He went inside out for that shot. Lovely.

Let's give Shahid Afridi some credit here. He's turned this game on its head - there's a reason he's got more T20 international wickets than anyone else. He finishes his four over stint with figures of 2-19. He didn't concede a single boundary - England were going at eight an over when he first came into the attack.

"Vince would only be the third batsman to carry his bat in a T20 international after Arthur Kyobe for Uganda against Scotland and Chris Gayle for West Indies against Australia."

  9. Eng 100-6 (England won toss)published at 15 overs

Chris Woakes has a domestic T20 strike-rate of 139, so he's capable of clobbering some late runs. He's up and running now as he crashes four through the covers.

I can't make up my mind if James Vince is playing a good anchoring innings in difficult circumstances or if his lack of fluency has hindered the team? Maybe I'm being unfair, but he's hit just one boundary at the top of the innings. This is not the James Vince who looks like a Rolls Royce when he's purring. Four from the over.

Remember when Joe Root was flicking sixes off his hips? That all seems like a long time ago now as Chris Woakes joins James Vince at the crease.

Pakistan are slicing through England in worrying style - Sam Billings the latest to play a rash shot and slicing the ball into the air where Umar Akmal sprints round to take a good running catch at mid-wicket.

These two batsmen are the only players to have scored more than 60 runs in the series so far. There's a positive for England as Sam Billings latches on to a half-tracker and pulls it for four.
