Steve: I can't listen. I've seen lemmings with fewer suicidal tendencies than England are displaying here.

Adam Lee: Has there ever been a time that two wickets have fallen in two balls three times in an innings?

"There was a real section in the middle where JP Duminy and Kyle Abbott got the ball moving. You look at England with Jason Roy and Ben Stokes and wonder if they were trying too hard. Root made it look easy, waiting for the ball to come to him. Maybe England will be feeling they've let that one go, as they looked as if they were going to reach 220."

Rashid b Rabada 3 (Eng 171 all out)

All over. Emphatically. A big slog, no contact, off-stump cartwheeling out of the ground. From 157-3 in the 17th over with Buttler and Morgan in full flow to 171 all out. Your comments please...

Rashid aims a wild slog at Rabada, edges it miles into the sky over his head, and the ball lands safe with three fielders converging. England run two...

Peter Goodwin: England's ability to collapse is second to none.

  6. Eng 169-9published at 19.2 overs

The big man gets off the mark with a single. Four balls for Rashid to come up with something inspirational.

  7. Eng 168-9published at 19.1 overs

Rabada to bowl the last over and England scramble a leg bye when one thuds into Rashid's body. But is Topley the man they want on strike?

"Abbott has done a fantastic job today, thinking back to how he started the innings. He's got the momentum back for South Africa. But you need bowlers like that - he's really had a big impact on the game."

Topley keeps out the hat-trick ball. He has so far managed a grand total of zero runs from his three T20 matches, so don't expect a thrilling cameo here...

  10. wicket

    Billings c Amla b Abbott 5 (Eng 166-9)

Not completing the 20 overs is definitely not part of the plan but last man Reece Topley is in now! Billings mistimes a rank long hop straight to square-leg where Amla took the catch above his head.

  12. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 18.4 overs

    Jordan c Du Plessis b Abbott 1 (Eng 166-8)

The meltdown continues. Jordan skies one miles up in the air and Du Plessis settles underneath it and takes the catch.

  13. Eng 165-7published at 18.2 overs

Billings gets off the mark with a shot of Buttler-esque bottom hand ferocity to dispatch Abbott through extra cover for four.

  14. Eng 160-7published at 18 overs

    Billings 0, Jordan 0

Two batsmen on nought to deal with the final 12 balls. Not an ideal scenario for England.

"Moeen needed to either go through with that shot and let the hands go, or nail it along the floor, and he did neither."

  16. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 17.5 overs

    Moeen c Duminy b Morris 1 (Eng 160-7)

This 200 is really not happening is it? England have lost four wickets for three runs in nine balls. Moeen is the latest casualty, brilliantly caught at deep cover.

"Stokes did himself. He was on the move, and I'm not sure what he was trying to achieve. That has really slowed England down."

  18. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 17.1 overs

    Stokes c&b Morris 1 (Eng 158-6)

He is on his way. A strange dismissal. Stokes with a cross-batted shot that just went tamely straight back to the bowler.

  19. Umpire reviewpublished at 17.1 overs

We are going to have a look at a caught-and-bowled from Morris here. He thinks he has got Stokes. Was it a bump ball? Morris is nodding - he's confident.

  20. Eng 158-5published at 17 overs

That plan for 200 did not involve losing two of the most destructive batsmen in successive deliveries, so can Stokes get going in time?
