  1. Eng 79-6 (Target 91)published at 15 overs

Calm and efficient stuff from Brunt and Wyatt as they take Harmanpreet for four runs. The India spinner gets one to sharply turn back on Brunt and just over the stumps. Agony for the bowler, relief for the batter.

The win predictor says 96% chance of victory for England. I wouldn't go that far.

"Ekta Bisht is causing a few problems. I think it's that grip away. Sciver didn't get her feet into position and left too big a gap and it was simple catch. England were under pressure before and now that's another big wicket."

  4. Eng 75-6 (need 16 from 36 balls)published at 14 overs

Katherine Brunt joins Dani Wyatt, who finds a gap on the off side to get three. Unbelievable that we're relieved to see England sneak runs. They're chasing 91!

  5. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 13.3 overs

    Sciver c Mithali b Ekta 19 (Eng 71-6)

England are trying their best to throw this away. Ekta doesn't get her hat-trick but she does strike two balls later as Sciver pops a simple catch to Mithali at cover. It was a lazy, soft stroke.

  6. Eng 71-5 (need 20 from 42 balls)published at 13 overs

The heat is on, the heat is o-on. Natalie Sciver is a cool customer, though. She goes down to one knee and sweeps an Anuja delivery away for four. She then picks up another two with a second sweep. A good over for England.

"It really is game on now. Lydia Greenway is not happy. I think she thinks she got a bit of bat on it."

  8. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 12 overs

Greenway lbw Ekta 0 (Eng 62-5)

We've got a game on now. For the second time this innings, India take two from two as Greenway plants her foot to turn to leg and is hit on the pads. Up goes the finger. The India players are jubilant. They have a real smell of an unlikely victory in their nostrils now.

  9. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 11.4 overs

Knight st Verma b Ekta 8 (Eng 62-3)

A ball after lofting a four over mid-off, Knight dances down again and is stumped off the bowling of Ekta. Just when they look set to put this game to bed, they give India a sniff.

"While India are in a transitional period they need to make the most of Jhulan Goswami and  Mithali Raj. Life without those two is a fair reality, so they need to get the most out of them to make the transition seamless."

  11. Eng 57-3 (Target 91)published at 11 overs

Another stumping review as Knight misses a sweep off Rajeshwari. Clearly not out, though. India just looking to apply some pressure to prevent England cruising this. England offer a slight chance from the final ball with a quick single, but Sciver's dive at the non-striker's end ensures she gets home safely ahead of the throw.

"Does Nat Sciver have one of the best cover drives around? I think India have bowled a little too full and need to go shorter to let the pitch work in their favour a bit."

  13. Eng 55-3 (need 36 off 60 balls)published at 10 overs

India continue to rotate their spin attack, with Anuja Patil returning. It doesn't disrupt the calm demeanour of the England pair, though, with Sciver's glance to leg for two the only scoring shot of the over. No need to do anything stupid. There is plenty of time.

  14. Eng 53-3 (Target 91)published at 9 overs

Left-arm spinner Ekta Bisht is back, sporting her cap. Knight and Sciver chip another couple off the runs required.

  15. Eng 51-3 (need 40 off 72 balls)published at 8 overs

A much less dramatic over from Harmanpreet, who helps England with a wide and goes for three more. Just what England needed - some calm.

  17. Eng 47-3 (target 91)published at 7 overs

England's positive start means they remain favourites here, but they are not making it easy. Heather Knight provokes a few more beads of sweat on English brows by missing a drive off Rajeshwari and prompting a review for a stumping. Fortunately for Knight, her foot is just behind the line. Natalie Sciver does herself and her side the world of good with a driven four. Halfway there.

"Beaumont's looked great, the speed at which she's used her hands she's kept things moving. She'll be frustrated though, she went too hard rather than playing the ball. She was at her best when she was trying to react.

"That wicket of Taylor slightly changes things. Taylor will be frustrated too. She didn't move early enough and was late on it. The ball turned and cut her in half."

  19. Eng 42-3published at 6 overs

Oh, so close to a hat-trick as new batter Natalie Sciver is caught between going forward and back and is nearly bowled. India striking back.

  20. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 5.5 overs

Taylor st Verma b Harmanpreet 16 (Eng 42-3)

Would you believe it?! Harmanpreet goes for three fours on the two and now has two wickets in two balls as Taylor dances down, misses and is stumped.
