Nat Sciver is now at the crease and is off the mark as England get to the end of the over without further damage. They need 38 from nine overs.

"She sometimes doesn't give herself enough time to get going. That shot is fine if mid-off and mid-on are in the ring, but not when they are back. Another wicket or two would really change things."
Taylor c Connell b Fletcher 3 (Eng 69-3)
Heather Knight smacks a boundary but England are definitely wobbling now - Sarah Taylor tries to go over the top but is caught in the deep by Shamilia Connell off Afy Fletcher. That's three wickets for 10 in 14 balls. England should still be OK but...
Edwards lbw Quintyne 30 (Eng 63-2)
A wobble in the offing? Both openers go lbw in quick succession, captain Charlotte Edwards picked up by Shaquana Quintyne as she falls for 30. Two new batters at the crease - Heather Knight and Sarah Taylorb - could check England's momentum.

"It was a length delivery, Beaumont got a big stride and it may have even hit the glove. She'll feel aggrieved. You wouldn't normally see those given."
Beaumont lbw Fletcher 31 (Eng 59-1)
Hmmm, that doesn't look to be a good decision. Tammy Beaumont is out lbw, looking for a reverse sweep. High? Bit of glove? Either way, her excellent knock is over.
Edwards pulls Quintyne for four as England keep ticking over nicely. Eight off the over.
Pak 26-1 (3.3 overs)
A couple of singles for Beaumont and Edwards and England's fifty is up. Superb opening stand and they're still going strong. Three off Afy Fletcher's first over. What can West Indies do to pull this back? It's probably too late but nothing they've tried has worked so far. It's all gone wrong for them since that caught behind appeal off Edwards was rejected in the third over.
Well, England have taken spectacular advantage of the powerplay, breaking the back of this chase in style. The sixth over, bowled by Anisa Mohammed, is relatively quiet with just the one boundary, this time to Charlotte Edwards. It's all very easy. Just 61 required now.

"That's a wonderful shot. She waited and played it right underneath her eyeline."
West Indies turn to Deandra Dottin but it doesn't get any better for them. Beaumont smacks her first ball for four. And six! The first maximum of the innings before a little luck as an outside edge runs down for another boundary. Beaumont has 28 off just 16 balls and England are motoring along rather nicely. So much for hard graft.

Charlotte Edwards keeps the momentum going with consecutive sweeps to the fence off Hayley Matthews' off-spin. West Indies badly need to break this partnership otherwise this could be over with plenty of time to spare. As for England, any nerves appear to have been well and truly banished.

"West Indies are distraught, they cannot believe the decision has not been given. Connell followed through about 20 yards past the stumps."
West Indies are sure they have made the breakthrough but no. Connell follows through right down the track as she is convinced she has captain Edwards caught behind, but the umpire is unmoved. West Indies are perplexed and this isn't going to make them feel better - Tammy Beaumont pulls Connell over mid-wicket for her third four. A big dent already made into the 109 required.

"That's Tammy Beaumont at her best. She uses he feet well and hits straight. She was able to flow through the shot.
Stumping appeal against Edwards but the umpire isn't having any of it... another four, this time for Tammy Beaumont. A lovely cut shot off Taylor, watching the ball onto the bat. And another! Down the track this time, over the top. Brilliant start for England.
Singles apiece to get Edwards and Beaumont off the mark before the England captain opens the face and glances down to third man for a settling boundary. Nice start. Oh, and it was Shamilia Connell who bowled that first over. Taylor's off-spin for the second.
