James Hildreth (40 not out) and Peter Trego (34 not out) share 60 for the fifth wicket to ensure, in the end, Surrey weren't able to seriously threaten a positive result.

  7. Postpublished at 17:41 British Summer Time 27 April 2016

Fiften overs left in Bristol, nine overs left at The Oval. Surrey and Gloucestershire both need six wickets for victory. Somerset and Worcestershire both just desperate to survive, but certainly looking strong favourites to do just that.

Well played, Moeen Ali. Always super to see an England batsman find some form.

Time to call it off now?

  12. wicket

Somerset are just dangling that carrot ever so slightly. Roelef van der Merwe is Zafar Ansari's third victim of the evening - and leaves the visitors 16 overs to survive with six wickets left.

You can't imagine the other three games will be too far behind The Oval.

All that said, Moeen Ali has progressed to 86 not out, so we could be sticking around for the England all-rounder's century...

  16. WARWICKSHIRE DRAW WITH YORKSHIREpublished at 16:54 British Summer Time 27 April 2016
    Breaking

    Yorkshire 379 & 73-2 v Warwickshire 443-9d

Ian Bell bowling off spin appears to have been the final straw. The two captains shake on it and it's all over at Edgbaston.

    Worcestershire 411 & 123-4 v Gloucestershire 380 & 382-7d

I'm claiming the assist for this one. Tom Kohler-Cadmore is the man to go for 25, bringing Ross Whiteley to the crease.

Moeen Ali is still chugging along, he's now on to 76 from 82 deliveries.

  19. Draws all round?published at 16:39 British Summer Time 27 April 2016

We've not had a wicket for nearly 15 minutes and it's all gone rather quiet. Draws nailed on?

    (Cue a collapse somewhere...)
