Surrey beat Sussex by 23 runs
Image source, Getty ImagesSurrey and England opener Jason Roy blasted 109 off 67 balls as Surrey earned a comfortable win over Sussex at Hove.
Roy and Kumar Sangakkara's (54) century stand and a late cameo from Dwayne Bravo which included four sixes helped Surrey up to 205-4.
Sussex struggled early on, before Luke Wright (34) and Ross Taylor (51) started striking boundaries.
But once both were out to Zafar Ansari in the same over, the innings lost momentum and Sussex fell short on 182-5.
Derbyshire beat Leicestershire by four wickets
Image source, Getty ImagesDerbyshire shrugged off the departure of elite performance director Graeme Welch to beat neighbours Leicestershire by four wickets.
Jimmy Neesham (3-26) and Shiv Thakor (3-17) reduced the Foxes to 49-5 and 87-8 before Neil Dexter (34) lifted the visitors up to 120 all out.
Leicestershire threatened a comeback when Clint McKay took wickets in consecutive balls as the hosts' reply slumped to 14-3 and later 54-5.
But Derbyshire drew a line under Welch's two-and-a-half years in charge as Neesham (29 not out) and a late Shiv Thakor cameo (14 not out) helped them home with 12 balls to spare.
Birmingham beat Durham by nine wickets
Image source, Getty ImagesVarun Chopra finished just three runs short of an unbeaten century as Birmingham Bears knocked off a target of just 155 against Durham with ease.
Paul Collingwood's earlier unbeaten 40 had helped the Jets to 154-9, but it never looked enough.
Chopra and Ian Bell (35) put on 94 for the opening wicket in reply and Chopra's eight fours and five sixes ensured the Bears secured victory with 14 balls to spare.
Glamorgan beat Hampshire by five wickets
Image source, Getty ImagesExtraordinary hitting by Aneurin Donald and Colin Ingram steered Glamorgan to a second win of the competition.
The pair shared a third-wicket stand of 94 as they chased down Hampshire's 141 all out.
Adam Wheater top-scored with 39 for the visitors with Shahid Afridi smashing 32 off 20 balls.
But Michael Hogan claimed four wickets and recently-arrived overseas star Dale Steyn blew away the tail.
Donald's innings of 55 in 27 balls included eight fours and two sixes.
Lancashire beat Yorkshire by 26 runs
Joe Root's unbeaten 92 off 51 balls was in vain for Yorkshire as they lost to rivals Lancashire by 26 runs.
Lancashire piled up 204-7 at Old Trafford thanks to Karl Brown's 38-ball 54 and a superb 55 off 23 balls by Liam Livingstone.
Jos Buttler also chipped in with a quick-fire 23.
Yorkshire were never really in the chase despite Root's best efforts as they lost wickets at regular intervals, and the England man was left stranded eight short of his century with Yorkshire on 178-7.
Northants beat Worcestershire by seven wickets
Image source, Getty ImagesAn unbeaten Josh Cobb half-century ensured Northants made light work of a poor Worcestershire batting performance at Wantage Road.
Cobb finished off the Steelbacks' pursuit of a below par 145 with a six and supported the big-hitting Richard Levi (44) at the top of the order.
It was a night to forget with the bat for the returning Moeen Ali as the England all-rounder made just nine at the start of Worcestershire's innings.
Gloucestershire beat Kent by seven wickets
Gloucestershire secured their second T20 Blast win in as many days with a deserved victory over Kent.
The visitors looked to be cruising to their target of 145 as Kiwi Hamish Marshall (56) and Ian Cockbain (37) shared a second-wicket stand of 64.
Both fell late on, leaving Chris Dent (11 not out) to hit the winning runs with a six from the second ball of Darren Stevens' final over.
Earlier, Sam Northeast (35) top scored for Kent, who struggled to 144-7 in the face of fine bowling from Andrew Tye (3-18).
Somerset beat Essex by seven wickets
The Chris Gayle force finally arrived for Somerset as the West Indies opener's 23-ball 49 set them well on course to chase down Essex's 178-7 with ease.
Gayle took 26 off five consecutive David Masters deliveries at one point to effectively end the contest.
Jim Allenby and Lewis Gregory guided the hosts home with 18 balls to spare for their first win in this year's competition.

David Wiese has a bit of a swing in the final over hitting Dwayne Bravo for a six and a four, but it's too little too late for Sussex.
An entertaining game at Hove, but the home crowd go away disappointed.

Sussex 151-5 (17.1 overs) v Surrey 205-4
It's game over now. Matt Machan is caught off his own bowling by Sam Curran and the main six-hitting threat is gone.
Derbyshire 123-6 (18 overs) v Leicestershire 120
A cameo from Shiv Thakor is enough to help Derbyshire home with 12 balls to spare.
The former Leicestershire man punishes his old side with three fours in four Kevin O'Brien deliveries to seal the visitors' fate.
Thakor ends on 14 not out, while James Neesham is unbeaten on 29.
Derbyshire travel to Notts next in the T20 Blast and they will be full of confidence after this victory.
Sussex 151-4 (17 overs) v Surrey 205-4
Chris Jordan smacks Dwayne Bravo for three fours in a row, but the over still only goes for 13.
It's not enough at this stage with the required run-rate at more than 18.
Like I've said a few times tonight, something special is needed.

A big blow from James Neesham at just the right time! He seems to be holding his nerve, even if the nerves of others are jangling.
Jigar Naik disappears into the crowd and the home fans are jubilant.

Not the most sensible of shots from skipper-for-the-evening Alex Hughes, who holes out in the deep on 27 from Jigar Naik's bowling.
Still, Derbyshire should still get home from here. But then predictions about this game are always dangerous...

Sussex are still in this! Matt Machan launches Zafar Ansari for a couple of maximums in an over which goes for 19.
The hosts need 76 from 30 balls.
Birmingham 155-1 (17.4 overs) v Durham 154-9
Varun Chopra finishes unbeaten on 97 as Birmingham complete a very comprehensive victory over Durham at Edgbaston.
Chopra, making his first T20 appearance of the season, shared an opening stand of 94 with captain Ian Bell.
He couldn't quite reach three figures though before the end as he and William Porterfield failed to engineer the strike for him.
