  1. GLOUCESTERSHIRE BEAT KENT BY SEVEN WICKETSpublished at 20:20 British Summer Time 3 June 2016
    Breaking

    Gloucestershire 146-3 (19.2 overs) v Kent 144-7

In rapidly deteriorating light, the departure of Hamish Marshall for 56 suddenly made this game very interesting, leaving Gloucestershire needing six off the last over, delivered by Darren Stevens.

But any lingering doubts in the away dressing room were quickly dispelled when Chris Dent flayed a straight six over the sightscreen from the second ball of the over.

One blow in the end was all that was needed.

That's a third win in a week in all competitions for Gloucestershire - and well deserved it was too.

  2. Durham finish on 154published at 20:17 British Summer Time 3 June 2016

    Birmingham v Durham 154-9 (20 overs)

Paul Collingwood has used all his experience and nous to get Durham some sort of a respectable score against Birmingham Bears.

An unbeaten 40 for the all-rounder off 28 balls ensured his side got beyond 150.

That landmark was reached with his second six off the final ball of the innings. England's Chris Woakes claimed 3-25 off his four overs.

  3. Glammy turning it aroundpublished at 20:16 British Summer Time 3 June 2016

    Glamorgan 49-2 (5 overs) v Hampshire 141

Things are getting a bit better for Glamorgan after a nightmare start.

Following Jacques Rudolph's early departure, David Lloyd was next to go after he was trapped lbw by Gareth Berg.

However, Colin Ingram enjoyed a fine fourth over, hitting three fours while Aneurin Donald refused to sit still. He's hit a six and three fours from his last six balls. Reasons to be cheerful for Glammy, here!

  4. Bravo going ballistic!published at 20:14 British Summer Time 3 June 2016

    Sussex v Surrey 190-2 (18.3 overs)

Dwayne Bravo is bringing some West Indian flair to the south coast! The big man has struck four sixes, including two off this Tymal Mills over, to move to 29 off just 11 balls.

Jason Roy is on 102 at the other end.

  5. Steelbacks watchful in pursuitpublished at 20:13 British Summer Time 3 June 2016

    Northants 26-1 (3 overs) v Worcestershire 144-6

Adam Rossington was an early victim for Northants in their chase of 145 against Worcestershire.

But, Richard Levi and Josh Cobb have them more than up with the early required rate.

  6. wicket

WICKET Willey (c Croft b Wagner 10)published at 20:13 British Summer Time 3 June 2016

    Lancashire 204-7 v Yorkshire 29-2 (3.1 overs)

Two in two for Lancashire! David Willey looks to power Neil Wagner over mid-off but Red Rose skipper Steven Croft leaps to take a nice catch over his head.

Jonny Bairstow joins Joe Root at the crease, both on nought!

  7. Yorkshire lose the skipperpublished at 20:11 British Summer Time 3 June 2016

    Lancashire 204-7 v Yorkshire 29-1 (3 overs)

Ah, that's a big blow for Yorkshire. Skipper Alex Lees tries to swat George Edwards into the stands but can only pick out Arron Lilley.

He goes for 16. It brings Joe Root to the crease.

  8. Dexter and McKay stand firmpublished at 20:08 British Summer Time 3 June 2016

    Leicestershire 108-8 (18 overs) v Derbyshire

Leicestershire have done well to keep this going for so long after losing Tom Wells straight after Lewis Hill.

From 87-8 Neil Dexter and Clint McKay have at least carried the visitors past the 100-mark, which seemed unlikely at one point.

  9. 100 runs

JASON ROY HITS A HUNDREDpublished at 20:08 British Summer Time 3 June 2016

    Sussex v Surrey 174-2 (17.2 overs)

Jason Roy brings up the first century of the night and what an innings it has been.

The England and Surrey opener has smashed 15 fours and one six to bring up the milestone off 61 balls.

He'll definitely want to send a few more into the stands though to take Surrey over the 200 mark.

  10. wicket

WICKET Jayawardene (b Masters 6)published at 20:06 British Summer Time 3 June 2016

    Somerset 129-3 (12.5 overs) v Essex 178-7

Maybe Essex do have a trick or two left in this one.

Mahela Jayawardene fails to shine tonight and is bowled by David Masters for just 6.

  11. Good start for Yorkshirepublished at 20:05 British Summer Time 3 June 2016

    Lancashire 204-7 v Yorkshire 21-0 (2 overs)

A really good first couple of overs for Yorkshire in their pursuit of 205 as Alex Lees and David Willey smear a couple of boundaries apiece through the off-side.

It's still a massive target for the White Rose and they'll need a special innings from someone. Could that man be England's David Willey?

  12. wicket

WICKET Trego (c Lawrence b Ashar Zaidi 34)published at 20:04 British Summer Time 3 June 2016

    Somerset 121-2 (11.5 overs) v Essex 178-7

Peter Trego and his boundary blitz come to an end.

But, Essex need plenty of more wickets if they're going to turn the Somerset tide in this one as Mahela Jayawardene comes out to bat.

  13. wicket

WICKET Rudolph (b Andrew c Vince 1)published at 20:04 British Summer Time 3 June 2016

    Glamorgan 5-1 (1.2 overs) v Hampshire 141

Not the best of starts for Glamorgan. Jacques Rudolph is gone from just the eighth ball of the hosts' innings courtesy of Gareth Andrew.

Colin Ingram walks out and he'll be looking to do a touch better than his captain.

  14. Victory in sight for Gloucestershirepublished at 20:01 British Summer Time 3 June 2016

    Gloucestershire 131-2 (17 overs) v Kent 144-7

It's been a measured reply by Gloucestershire, who have played it simple and taken no risks.

Their approach looks as if it is going to pay off with a comfortable win.

Even the exit of Ian Cockbain for 37 with victory in sight, feathering Ivan Thomas through to keeper Sam Billings, is unlikely to make much difference.

  15. Colly hanging inpublished at 20:01 British Summer Time 3 June 2016

    Birmingham v Durham 114-6 (16 overs)

Paul Collingwood trying to keep things together for Durham in the closing overs of their tricky innings.

A run-a-ball 14 for Brigadier Block so far.

Ryan Pringle (33) has been the only visiting batsman to make any sort of impression so far against last year's semi-finalists.

  16. 50 runs

Fifty and out for Kumar Sangakkarapublished at 19:57 British Summer Time 3 June 2016

    Sussex v Surrey 145-2 (15 overs)

Surrey are on for an absolutely huge total at Hove it seems as Kumar Sangakkara moves to his half-century.

It took the Sri Lankan 30 balls with six fours and one six.

However, Ajmal Shahzad then pins him lbw for 54 and he has to go. Jason Roy is still going all guns blazing on 88 at the other end.

  17. Cruise control for Somersetpublished at 19:56 British Summer Time 3 June 2016

    Somerset 100-1 (10 overs) v Essex 178-7

All very simple and sedate for Somerset at Taunton.

It might have quietened down a bit after Chris Gayle departed for 49, but Jim Allenby and Peter Trego are doing more than enough to ensure the hosts are well on course for a routine win.

  18. Worcestershire finish on 144published at 19:54 British Summer Time 3 June 2016

    Northants v Worcestershire 144-6 (20 overs)

Worcestershire's innings at Northampton finishes on a respectable 144-6 as skipper Daryl Mitchell remained unbeaten on 44.

Not such a memorable evening for England's Moeen Ali though, he made just 9 at the top of the order.

  19. Recovery checkedpublished at 19:53 British Summer Time 3 June 2016

    Leicestershire 84-7 (13 overs) v Derbyshire

A recovery of sorts was in the offing from Leicestershire thanks to the efforts of Neil Dexter and Lewis Hill, who took 31 off three overs.

But a bowling change brings a change in fortunes for the hosts. Shiv Thakor gets rid of Hill (18) with his first ball of his second spell as Chesney Hughes takes his second catch of the innings.

Dexter is 21 not out at the other end.

  20. Hampshire all out for 141published at 19:47 British Summer Time 3 June 2016

    Hampshire 141 (18.3 overs) v Glamorgan

That's been quite a bowling performance from Glamorgan, courtesy of a fine display from Dale Steyn and Michael Hogan.

It's taken them just 18.3 overs and the crowd at Sophia Gardens are delighted and why not?

Steyn finishes Hampshire off with two wickets in three balls, first claiming Gareth Andrew before trapping Tino Best lbw.

Glammy will believe that's a target they can chase down but can they do it?
