So, just when we thought England were on course for a straightforward if unspectacular win, they snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

At least England - and West Indies - can wave goodbye to this low-scoring pitch. The rest of the series, with the three remaining games that count towards the ICC Women's Championship, take place at the historic Sabina Park ground in the Jamaican capital Kingston.

The two games have had certain phases where you think you know which way it is going to go but then suddenly the games turn and this is when you need the leaders to take responsibility. It is hard playing on this pitch, you either have to go straight or full square.

You have to give credit to the West Indies and specifically to Deandra Dottin. I have seen her do this to teams, she comes on and just changes the game. A few shot selections by the England girls weren’t poor, they were just poorly executed. That game-changing spell of bowling is what the England players have unfortunately fallen to.
If you've just been to make a cup of tea and wondered what happened to England in the interim, let me explain. They were 93-3, with captain Heather Knight and Natalie Sciver at the crease, needing to score 56 more with 15 overs to spare, and seven wickets standing.
They then lost seven wickets in seven-and-a-half overs. Spinner Afy Fletcher (3-19) started the collapse, taking three crucial wickets in the middle order, before seamer Deandra Dottin (4-19) ripped out the tail, taking the last four wickets.

A quite astonishing spell there by Dottin. But I'm sure there may be inquests later about a couple of the shots England played at the start of that collapse.

The hat-trick ball... is kept out by Jones. But she perishes three balls later, another lbw victim, and England have fallen from 93-3 to 110 all out.
West Indies have levelled the series at 1-1. In quite spectacular fashion.

I think England's fate at the moment is in Amy Jones' hands.
Alex Hartley joins Amy Jones at the crease. It's Fletcher's last over. Jones sweeps, West Indies appeal for a caught behind, it's not given but then all the players run in while the umpires consult. Did the bails come off there? Jones survives, but she's going to have to think about farming the strike there - Hartley has her fans out there, but even her most fervent admirers would not bet their house on her scoring the 40 runs England still need. Jones takes a single and Hartley just defends for the rest of the over.

Deandre Dottin is such a key player for the West Indies whether she has the bat in her hand or the ball in her hand. These big situations is where the big players come alive and Dottin has.

First ball! It's a golden duck for teenager Sophie Ecclestone as she nicks her first ball to the wicketkeeper. Dottin is on a hat-trick - but as that's the last ball of the over, will the game last long enough to give her a chance to take it?

The score they need to get, 149 seems a long way away. Its going to be hard work. England are going to have to dig in a bit here and show some character and absorb the pressure from these West indies girls.
Marsh b Dottin 0 (Eng 109-8)
Bowled her! Another unplayable Dottin yorker. Not even Laura Marsh, the Great Wall of Kent, could keep that one out. England have lost five wickets for 16 runs. And they only have two rookies to come in now.
Laura Marsh may be England's number nine here - but this is a player who can dig in with the best of them. In the 2013 Ashes, she took 304 balls (yes, three hundred and four) to score 55, supporting Heather Knight's 157. Her first ball... keeps very low. Marsh takes a second look.
