England coach Mark Robinson on TMS: "We have done well, it's not an easy wicket. Two early wickets, pressure on - we've got to keep it there."

  3. WI 35-2published at 14 overs

So a great opening over from Ecclestone, as Deandra Dottin joins Taylor at the crease - and TMS have a special guest on for a few overs as England head coach Mark Robinson has joined the team.

An excellent catch from Nat Sciver - the ball was in the air a long time, it was swirling high above her with the sun in her eyes.

    Quintyne c Sciver b Ecclestone 15 (WI 35-2)

Another spinner on - and another wicket in their first over! It's teenage slow left-armer Sophie Ecclestone on at the Pavilion End, and she induces Quintyne to loft the ball over mid-wicket, and Nat Sciver takes the catch.

  6. WI 35-1published at 13 overs

A half-hearted - perhaps three-quarters-hearted - appeal for leg before as Marsh bowls to captain Taylor, but the umpire shakes his head. Taylor, reprieved, square-drives Marsh but it's picked up just in front of the rope and they run two. As they found on Saturday, the Trelawny Stadium outfield isn't that quick - another reason we're not expecting a big total.

  7. WI 31-1published at 12 overs

Quintyne, who's been plodding along at one run an over, cuts loose for the first time as she lofts Sciver over mid-off for four. There's a hint of a chance as Quintyne spears the ball towards gully - but it drops short of Lauren Winfield. So not a chance.

If you've not been with us from the start, they're playing on the same pitch as they were on Saturday, which was compared to plasticene - so don't think they're suddenly going to accelerate and score 400.

Mark: Bumble is perhaps the greatest living national treasure.

We're sure you all know who Bumble is but, just in case, Mark is nominating former Lancashire batsman, England coach and current Sky Sports commentator David Lloyd

  9. WI 27-1published at 11 overs

Laura Marsh has quite a long run-up for a spinner - a legacy of the days when she used to bowl medium pace before switching to off-spin - and she strays down the leg side for a wide which is our first extra of the day.

England will be looking to squeeze again and not allow these two to form a partnership.

  11. WI 25-1 (Quintyne 10, Taylor 0)published at 10 overs

Captain Stafanie Taylor - fresh from her dramatic ambulance ride on Saturday - is in at first wicket down, sweeping some dust away from the crease between deliveries as she takes guard against Sciver. Just a single (to Quintyne) off it.

Brilliant start from Laura Marsh, setting her up by varying her pace and line. Matthews was trying to hit across the line and it struck her right in front.

England have bowled really well and put West Indies under much more pressure than they did at the start of their innings on Saturday.

    Matthews lbw b Marsh 15 (WI 24-1)

Laura Marsh - experienced off-spinner, World Cup winner and DIY enthusiast (as we heard from her housemate Lydia Greenway in the first ODI on Saturday) - comes on at the Sea End, and makes an immediate breakthrough as Matthews is trapped in front.

  14. WI 23-0published at 8 overs

Fortune favours Quintyne as she gets a bottom edge which scuttles down to third man for a single. But Sciver otherwise keeps it tight, varying her pace well.

Katherine Brunt will be disappointed with those last two balls, that fifth ball too full and a little too straight and perhaps overcompensating on the sixth ball.

  16. WI 22-0 (Matthews 15, Quintyne 7)published at 7 overs

Brunt charges in for her fourth over, and finally we have a boundary as Hayley Matthews guides a fuller delivery through mid-wicket for four - before standing tall to slash another one through point.

Meanwhile, on the "national treasure" debate on TMS, Lydia Greenway is going for Mary Berry, while our man Stephan Shemilt nominates Judi Dench. Feel free to text, tweet or email us your nominations. I'm disappointed neither of them have yet mentioned David Gower...

Good body language from England, buzzing around, Danielle Wyatt clapping her hands at point.

  18. WI 14-0published at 6 overs

With the helmeted Jones standing up to Sciver's medium pace, West Indies take their sequence of singles past a dozen, then a baker's dozen, while Sciver finds an unexpected bit of bounce from the wicket, getting one to rear up at Quintyne who takes one hand off the bat.

It's intelligent cricket from West Indies. On these sort of wickets you are not always going to be able to play the entertaining brand both teams would like to play.

  20. WI 11-0published at 5 overs

Quintyne had trouble with her shoelaces in the first over - now it's Brunt with a footwear malfunction, it looks like she's got a problem with one of her spikes. But it's the wholehearted effort you'd expect from the Barnsley pace bowler - the slip's come out but Lauren Winfield is in at a rather short gully position. Still no boundaries yet - England 12th man Jenny Gunn runs on with a helmet between overs, so we could see Amy Jones standing up to the wicket soon.
