  1. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 42.3 overs

    Taylor c Marsh b Brunt 56 (WI 127-7)

That's the big one - captain Stafanie Taylor tries to go aerial towards the off-side but completely miscues and it's pouched at mid-on by Laura Marsh.

Surely she didn't need to do that? Taylor had to shepherd the innings through to the end.

During the interval, we're going to hear an interview that Lydia did at the papaya farm with her old team-mate Anya Shrubsole, to find out a little about life on tour.

  3. WI 126-6published at 42 overs

Heather Knight again and an appeal for lbw off the first delivery of the over. Umpire rightly not interested. Nearly a caught and bowled as Mohammed goes on-side but just out of Knight's reach. A single off the final ball keeps Taylor off strike.

  4. WI 125-6published at 41 overs

Anisa Mohammed comes in to face Brunt and she's off the mark but just one off that over, as well as the wicket of King.

Stacy-Ann King's a powerful player, so brilliant work by Amy Jones. We haven't often noticed her, but she's been doing a good job behind the stumps and that's probably the best she's done so far.

  6. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 40.2 overs

King st Jones b Brunt 14 (WI 124-6)

Jones stands up to Brunt, which is brave considering the pace of the attack leader, and the tactic works as Stacy-Ann King overbalances and the wicketkeeper whips the bails off.

Great stuff all round from England.

Heather will be disappointed with that last over, as a loose full toss allowed Taylor to put it away. They'll be looking to score at a run a ball from here, which will take them to about the 180 mark. But one wicket will change the momentum.

  8. WI 124-5published at 40 overs

England captain Heather Knight brings herself back and offers up a full toss which West Indies counterpart Stafanie Taylor clubs through mid-wicket for another four, baseball-style.

Ten overs left. What do we think the West Indies will be aiming for - 180-190?

More drinks for both teams. Thirsty work - only five hours since the last break.

I was speaking to Katherine Brunt earlier and she was talking about the possibility of a bit of reverse swing - I think she might be going for that now.

  10. 50 runs

    50 for Taylor - WI 118-5published at 39 overs

Brunt charging in and that's short and wide and Taylor's eyes light up - thwacked past gully for a four that brings up the West Indies' skipper's half-century from 80 deliveries.

The vuvuzelas come to life as the hosts suddenly hit the accelerator. King picking up a pair of twos as nine runs are plundered from that over.

  11. WI 109-5published at 38 overs

Ecclestone again, she offers Taylor a full toss and the skipper isn't going to pass up that opportunity - she absolutely leathers that straight back down the ground and the 17-year-old did well to get out the way of that.

King is able to dab-sweep a couple herself as West Indies manage eight off that over - a good one for the hosts.

  13. WI 101-5published at 37 overs

Katherine Brunt returns with six overs still in the bank. She comes around the wicket to King who opens the face for a couple that brings up the Windies' 100.

We're into the powerplay so only three fielders outside the ring. Brunt charging in from the Sea End and there is no width to work with for King, who manages a quick single off the final ball of the over as she hits into the on-side.

West Indies have done well to get to this score, these two need to stay there until the 40th over and then they can look to push on.

  15. WI 98-5published at 36 overs

Incidentally Marsh finished with 1-23 from her 10 overs having made the initial breakthrough, trapping Hayley Matthews lbw.

Sophie Ecclestone back into the attack and that's unusually loose, a full toss wide of leg stump which King can only sweep for a single.

Captain Stafanie Taylor sees out the rest of the over as Ecclestone, with her lovely, fluid action, quickly finds her groove.

England will be reasonably happy, they've broken the crucial Taylor-Dottin partnership and stuck at it. Heather will be telling them they need to keep taking wickets as if they can get a couple more, they'll be very happy as you need wickets in hand going into the last 10 overs on a pitch like this. It's absolutely baking out there, but they have to realise a wicket can fall at any time.

  17. WI 97-5published at 35 overs

    Marsh 10-0-23-1

Laura Marsh back for her last over and she is right on the mark, aiming for the stumps as demanded by coach Mark Robinson. Just one off the over to King.

The golf buggy is on to provide refreshments for both teams on a scorching day in Jamaica. The drink will taste sweeter for England after the past 30 minutes or so.

Who's got the worst taste in music in the England team?

Danielle Wyatt, you can guarantee every tour, she'll put some Rihanna song on. Nat Sciver normally puts the team CD together - she's very musical, a very good dancer. You don't want to stand next to her when she's dancing on a night out at the end of a tour as she'll make you look rubbish. I'd probably stand next to Laura Marsh as we're probably as bad as each other.

  19. WI 96-5published at 34 overs

Hartley coming around the wicket to left-hander King who sweeps unconvincingly. Four off the over.

You need to value your wicket here. Stacy-Ann King's first shot was a sweep, she's a seasoned campaigner so she needs to use her experience. With Laura Marsh bowling it into the pitch, you can't just lump forward.
