What's been good from Lauren Winfield is how close she is playing to her body, she is not having to feel for the ball and that allows her to generate power.

  2. Eng 22-0published at 4 overs

    Winfield 15, Beaumont 5

Beaumont pulls the ball just wide of square leg - she was caught there playing that shot on Friday - for one. Winfield is going great guns, flicking Dottin wide of the same fielder and that's her third four. Not trying to jinx them - but this is exactly the sort of steady start England would have wanted.

Building a partnership is key, losing wickets increases the run rate and increases the pressure on the batters coming in. Taylor didn't go all guns blazing at the start of her innings.

  4. Eng 14-0published at 3 overs

Connell has a cover sweeper this time, the fleet-footed Shemaine Campbelle, and she's called into action straight away as Beaumont helps herself to a single. But with a largely unguarded leg side, Connell knows she can't stray onto leg stump - and Winfield effortlessly turns a four off her toes when the right-armer strays with her line. A single takes Winfield to nine. Happy days.

And good news for you wireless listeners - with the rugby over, TMS is back on BBC Radio 5 live sports extra for the rest of the game. Happy days (again).

England are not going to win this game in overs one to 10. They need to take this game deep and keep wickets in hand, even if they need six or seven an over.

  6. Eng 8-0published at 2 overs

    Winfield 4, Beaumont 2

Tammy Beaumont opens her account, nudging Deandra Dottin's slingy medium pace between slip and gully for a single, while a leg bye - signalled by umpire Brathwaite tapping his leg at least a dozen times - rotates the strike.

A very good shot, timed it nicely and it sat up nicely for her. This will be a big innings for Lauren Winfield after what she did on Friday - the best players do it consistently.

  8. Eng 5-0 (target 224)published at 1 over

Connell begins with a ropey wide - and England then take advantage of another wideish delivery as Lauren Winfield chops a four through the packed ring of cover fielders. It's a slow outfield, but that moved as quickly as anything we've seen today.

West Indies have got themselves up to a good total. They will be favourites and England have a lot of work to do.

Shamilia Connell to take the new ball to Winfield and Beaumont. Strap yourselves in, it's time for England's reply. They need 4.48 per over.

Welcome back - it's Mark Mitchener back in the live text chair, with the two umpires just wandering out - and on paper it's an uphill task for England, but let's be positive.

Win this, and not only have they clinched the series, but they'll be on the brink of World Cup qualification.

Right, with the players refuelling in the pavilion we'll take the chance to do the similar in the BBC canteen. We'll be back in about 25 minutes or so to bring you live text and TMS commentary as England chase 224 to win the series. See you shortly.

  16. How's stat?!published at 18:51

That was the fourth highest women's ODI score on this ground - the highest being West Indies' 238-6 against New Zealand in 2013.

  17. Postpublished at 18:50

That's an excellent batting performance from the West Indies and, in particular, their skipper Stafanie Taylor who top-scored with 84 and was once again the lynchpin of their innings.

A word, too, for Merissa Aguilleira. Her 32 might not seem startling but it gave the innings real impetus.

As for England, four dropped catches - at least two of which should definitely have been taken - were very costly. They were unusually sloppy in the field and, as Stephan Shemilt observed on TMS, they did not look a happy bunch as they left the field.

No side has won a women's ODI batting second on this ground. England showed their frustration as they walked off - Heather Knight strode off before the West Indian batters, breaking a convention in cricket.

England didn't help themselves - with four dropped catches and a missed stumping.

  19. Postpublished at 18:45 British Summer Time 16 October 2016

Jamaica Gleaner journalist Jermaine Lannaman on TMS: "It will be a hard ask at this ground. But having said that, West Indies deserve that total - a lot of credit should go to Stafanie Taylor who has given them the opportunity to level the series. England will have to bat out of their skins."

  20. WI 223-6published at 50 overs

    Campbelle 9, King 9

Final ball and King heaves to leg again but once more doesn't connect with the bat, it hits her pads and drops in front of her. Two dot balls to finish but that's still the highest total of this series so far.

In modern cricket parlance, England are behind the eight ball here.
