A more chastening over for England. First, Winfield skies a sweep into the air and it falls safely. Then Beaumont drives the ball back towards the bowler, Fletcher gets a hand to it and the ball hits the stumps... was Winfield back in her ground? The umpire (who wasn't best placed) says yes - TV replays suggest she may not have been. Ulp. But no third umpire or DRS in this series.

Stephan Shemilt (Stoke-on-Trent) is insisting on TMS that darts' Phil Taylor (Stoke-on-Trent) is the world's greatest living sportsperson. I have to say I'm with Henry Moeran on this - he made a case for Roger Federer.

Feel free to join in the debate by using the hashtag #bbccricket.

Make that six bowlers within eight overs - it's Anisa Mohammed on in place of fellow off-spinner Matthews. Mohammed, face plastered with a thick layer of sun cream, skips in but finds Beaumont and Winfield ready to plunder singles at will, before Beaumont launches another four over mid-off.

West Indies need to realise they are in a battle here. England are putting them under pressure.

West Indies turn to their fifth bowler in the space of seven overs - Afy Fletcher, who as we've seen in this series, is listed as an off-spinner but has been bowling leg-breaks for the past three games. And she tries a little of both in the first over - keeper Merissa Aguilleira and her giant gloves doesn't seem to know what to expect.

Winfield had been the aggressor in the first couple of overs, but it's The Tammy Beaumont Show at the moment, waiting for a short and wide delivery from Fletcher and punching it through extra cover for four. Stafanie Taylor pulls her players together in a huddle at the end of the over - perhaps to read the riot act.

If England are going to win the match, this is the ideal start. It's about these two taking responsibility and extending the partnership.

    Winfield 21, Beaumont 34

It's like the Tammy Beaumont we saw during the English summer, plundering back-to-back ODI centuries against a rather hapless Pakistan side, has washed up on the Jamaica shore and is taking the game to the West Indies, taking advantage of the last over of fielding restrictions.

Would England have taken 59-0 from 10 overs, chasing 224? You betcha.

Brilliant six from Tammy Beaumont, fully extending and timing it nicely. They are long boundaries here so you have to hit it well to get a six.

Tammy likes to take it to the bowlers and try to make them do something.

That's big, that's gone! Tammy Beaumont may be short in stature but unleashes an absolute monster of a lofted off-drive over long-off for six! That's the fifty partnership Another blast over Matthews' head brings two more, and another powerful cover drive means she's scored 12 in three deliveries.

The sweep throughout this series has been a good option against the off-spinners because the pitches have been slow, and you can get value for the shot.

Plenty of horns blaring around Sabina Park - a Winfield sweep brings another lbw appeal for Taylor, but again it looked like it may have struck her outside the line. The rangy Taylor, all arms and legs in her run-up, is quickly through her over, two runs from it. England need 177 from 41 overs at a rate of 4.32.

I saw Hayley Matthews wearing her West Indies cap at breakfast. Do you think she ever takes it off? Jenny Gunn's the tallest in the England team, but she might not even be in the top three tallest of the West Indians.

  14. Eng 45-0published at 8 overs

    Winfield 19, Beaumont 22

Another change of bowling - Dottin's off and teenager Hayley Matthews (bowling style: off-spin, while wearing a cap) comes on. As Stephan points out on TMS, it's like the land of the giants when Beaumont faces up to some of these West Indies bowlers. Matthews appeals for lbw, but she got a good stride in, it hit her outside the line, it was probably going over the stumps... so not really worth appealing for. Matthews shows her frustration by bowling a wide.

England's opening batters, Tammy Beaumont and Lauren Winfield, have been going around really nicely, they have not taken any risks and just played good cricket shots and they have continued to run well, taking some singles that the West Indies fielders may be frustrated about.

  16. Eng 43-0 (target 224)published at 7 overs

The skipper's going to come on to try to put the brakes on - it's captain Stafanie Taylor to bowl her off-spin. She's not showing too many ill effects of that leg injury which hampered her batting - but then serves up a full toss (of the juicy pie, "please hit me" variety) which Beaumont despatches to mid-wicket for four. Exactly what it deserved.

Heather Knight loves batting for a long time and so it will be good for her to bat at three.

  18. Eng 38-0published at 6 overs

Still bright and sunny at Sabina Park as Dottin begins her third over from the Courtney Walsh End. And another lovely cover drive from Beaumont disappears for four, beyond the grasp of the fielder at extra cover. Captain Stafanie Taylor comes over for a chat mid-over - but it doesn't do much good for Dottin as umpire Brathwaite, like an orange-clad bird of prey, spreads his wings to signal a wide. And Taylor's not getting much help from the field here - wicketkeeper Merissa Aguilleira lets a low shooter straight past her for four byes.

Henry Moeran on TMS thinks the outfield is definitely quicker than in the first innings. Did he sneak out there with a lawnmower between innings to give the grass a quick number one trim? I think we should be told.

This is exactly what England needed to do - they haven't taken any risks. They just need to capitalise on anything off line or off target from the West Indian bowlers.

  20. Eng 28-0 (target 224)published at 5 overs

Now it's Tammy Beaumont finding the boundary, the pocket rocket from Dover (she's listed as five foot three) getting up on her toes to steer Connell past cover for four.
