RSB: With or without the shenanigans, @BCBtigers, external at home is a serious scalp. Well done @englandcricket, external.

Dan Pritchett: A young inexperienced team lead by a new captain to win in these conditions is a damn good achievement. Well done boys!

Russell Anderson: You can argue it's only Bangladesh but that's still a pretty impressive chase and one that would never have happend 2 years ago

  4. England win by four wickets and win the series 2-1published at 17:32 British Summer Time 12 October 2016

Well played England. This was a tough total to chase in difficult conditions. Billings, Duckett and Stokes deserve special mention for their efforts with the bat.

Bangladesh can't make it seven series wins on the bounce. And they remain without a series win over England.

What a way to win a game and a series. Woakes punches the ball down the ground and over the rope to give England the win with 13 balls to spare.

England have now silenced the crowd, probably for good. Shafiul bowls two wides, to underline that this game and the series have gone.

Massive. Stokes takes a step and times his shot perfectly to send the ball way back into the stand behind bowler Shafiul.

Dan Benson: Only England could turn a less-than-a-run-a-ball chase with two of the best ODI batsmen in the world at the crease into a nail-biter.

  9. Eng 261-6 (17 needed from 18 balls)published at 47 overs

Woakes, now settled again after a little chat with Stokes, repeats his shot from earlier with another drive for four to end the over. Penny for Kayes' thoughts.

  10. dropped catch

    Dropped catchpublished at 46.4 overs

    Eng 257-6

Would you believe it. Stokes goes from the sublime to the ridiculous as he flashes wildly and edges to Kayes at slip. The Bangladesh fielder makes an absolute mess of the catch, though, juggling and then dropping it. Has he just dropped the series?

  11. Eng 257-6 (21 needed from 21 balls)published at 46.3 overs

Taskin takes over as Mortaza stays with seam. Woakes pulls out a superb drive through cover for four. Shot of the day. It silences the crowd.

  12. Eng 251-6 (27 needed off 24 balls)published at 46 overs

Shafiul plays on Stokes' natural instinct to attack by sending one up there and drawing a flash and a miss. After conceding a single he then cuts one right through Woakes and just past off stump before beating him outside off. Just two off the over. Little bit of nerves on show from the tourists.

The tigers are praying en masse now.

I once delivered some post to Neil Fairbrother after it had be incorrectly sent to my brother down the road. He was very appreciative. Incidentally, Fairbrother and Thorpe would have seen this chase off in their sleep.

Mortaza is fuming. Woakes somehow gets two down to Taskin at third man, who bizarelly throws to the non-striker's end. It is an extra run Bangladesh can dearly do without conceding. Four off the over as an unruffled England ease onward. Mortaza finishes with 2-51. He needs to find someone else to take responsibility with the ball. I suspect it will be Shakib.

Sneaky. Woakes was dismissed by a full Taskin ball outside off in the last match, but here he uses softer hands to steer a similar ball to third man for four. He then beats mid-on to get three more. This is where England's long line-up really comes into its own.

Damien Farney: Straussy and Gus Fraser casually wandered into my mate Simon's wedding reception at Twickenham stadium. Very bizarre scenes

Simeon Entwistle: Once asked James Anderson for directions to Taunton Library, he wasn't sure where it was either.

Humphrey Flange: Sat on the next table to Andrew Hall in a garden centre restaurant near Woburn.

One fan holds aloft a banner that declares Mortaza as his hero. I'm not surprised. The Bangladesh skipper has been top class this series. He is keeping his side in this game and series. Woakes joins Stokes, who sees out three dot balls to end the over. A run a ball needed.

  20. wicket

    Moeen c Mahmudullah b Mortaza 1 (Eng 236-6)

Very poor from Moeen. It is a slower cutter from Mortaza and he looks to flick the ball to leg but instead sends the ball looping tamely up to Mahmudullah at mid-on. Bangladesh are well in this now.
