Time for a captain's spell. Mashrafe Mortaza brings himself back into the attack. He was inspirational in the second ODI, scoring runs and taking wickets. 44 and four-for. Neat.

He doesn't add to the wicket tally but he doesn't give England much opportunity to add to their run total either.

Ben Stokes comes out to join Duckett in the middle. If you'd just tuned in to watch this you'd win no prizes for guessing which one is the new man and which one had been out there for 61 runs. Stokes' lack of sweat gives him a matt finish to Duckett's gloss. Four singles off the over as well as the wicket. Umpire Erasmus has a little check on the last of those singles to make sure Stokes got in okay, but he needn't have bothered. He was home by some distance.

The wicket Bangladesh needed. It is an ugly shot from Bairstow, who swings wildly as though he thought the ball was shorter than it was. Off stump is pegged back. The home side are back in the game.

Michael Blighe: Got sold some dart flights by Gary Pratt in a sports shop in my hometown. Yeah, we're from the same town.

Will Green: I once had a pint at a table next to Brian Close in a Yorkshire pub. He had a club sandwich and a bitter. He looked grumpy.

Joshua Hanson: Once met Steven Finn in Lord's Taverner after a county match. Asked him to do a jager bomb, he said no.

Here's the danger man. Shakib returns to try and swing this back in the home side's favour. Attack is the best form of defence for Duckett, who sweeps him away for four, beating the attempted diving stop from Nasir. The batsman then takes a stride down and launches the ball for another four.

A poor judge of a single gives Bangladesh a chance but the keeper misses the stumps with his throw and Duckett survives.

My wife sat opposite Jonny Bairstow on a train up to Leeds a few weeks back. They got chatting, had a couple of beers and he gave her an England shirt, a pair of his wicket keepers inners and Tim Bresnan's Yorkshire shirt.

Good over from Shafiul on his return. Just the two runs off it. Bangladesh need wickets, though.

Calmness personified. Duckett brings up his second ODI fifty and his second in three matches on this tour. The crowd don't seem to have noticed as he raises his bat to an eerie silence.

There has been no panic from the England batsmen this innings. Even when a wicket has fallen the new man has come in and done a sensible job of acclimatising. Bangladesh, desperate for a wicket, go up as a unit for lbw against Duckett, but it hit him outside the line. Not out. Another Nasir over managed well. The required rate is back under six.

I once spotted Brian Lara in a baseball cap enjoying dinner at Barbados airport. Doubt then hit my 16-year-old self - I had to be sure it was him first so calmly eased into a table next to him with my younger brother. Target confirmed and just as I'm about to swoop in for a picture, Brian takes a call. Being British, I calmly and courteously wait for the call to end. Ten minutes later Mr Lara is still on the phone and to my despair he is now up and walking towards the gates. Horrified, I interrupt up his call, and organise the photo. A true gent, I thought - as I head off I overhear Brian abruptly dismissing the next young hopeful - just in time!

Bairstow will probably feel he owes the team some runs here. 35 and 0 he has contributed so far in the series. He starts his payback in earnest with a launched four over mid-off. Both he and Duckett and finding the gaps well.

Excellent pressure applied by the Bangladesh seamers earned the wicket of Billings. 140 at just past the halfway stage, still 138 to win. This is going to be tough for England.

Duckett takes a risk and gets away with it, dropping to a knee and slog-sweeping the returning Nasir over mid-wicket for four. He goes for it again last ball but skies his effort safely into the outfield for two runs. Good attacking intent to the spinner.

Overall that innings from Billings was a mixture of maturity, poise, brains and talent. His ability to make the bowlers change their plans by hitting gaps with innovative technique was a joy to watch. It's an experiment that England will want to try again.

    Cheers Justin.

Well, despite the loss of Billings I still think England would have snapped your hand off if you'd offered them this at the interval.

The required rate sneaks past a run a ball as Taskin keeps Bairstow and Duckett in check.

Jonny Bairstow is the new man, hoping to build on that second-wicket partnership of 64 between Billings and Duckett. Phil Dawkes is back to talk you through the rest of this intriguingly poised match. Be nice to him.
