Jayant must be wondering what the fuss is about Test cricket. 55 at Mohali and now an unbeaten century here. And he's had the best seat in the Wankhede to watch Kohli's double ton. He celebrates by smashing Rashid over his head and away to the boundary. Such lovely foot movement there.

Jayant Yadav's hundred is the first by an India number nine in Tests.

A wonderful innings and a lovely moment. He must be grateful to Joe Root, who put him down off James Anderson last night.

Well played, The Giant. A maiden Test hundred at number nine. He avoided a nasty short ball from Woakes to start the over, whipping his gloves out of the way, before clipping a single to bring up three figures. What a partnership this has been.

Dom: A fire alarm in my hotel + Kohli taking the game away from England = 1 bad Sunday so far. Kohli is fabulous to watch though.
Here's Rashid, into his 51st over. It's been a slog for the spinners. A decent over is spoiled as a delivery that turns into Jayant clips the gloves and runs away to the boundary. It brings Jayant four runs and sighs and eye rolls from Cook and Stokes, who are hovering at slip and gully.

Chris Woakes, who looks like he has the weight of the world on his shoulders, will continue after lunch. His first ball is short and Jayant gets straight off the mark to it, running it down to third man for a single. Woakes fires all his frustration into a short ball that strikes Jayant on the side of the helmet. Both Kohli and Stokes come over to check he's OK.
Cheers, Dawkesy. Well. That was a long morning for England and it's about to get even longer. Have you ever had a worse morning than England? Let me know.
No respite for England. They'll be back out in a bit for more punishment. Me, though? Well, I'm off for a brew and a lie down. Here is Amy Lofthouse to talk you through the second session.

Not a lot - go and have some food. He'll be getting his mind into the mental tank of having to bat for a long while. When you'er a team that has been hammered in the last two games, for England fans you want to see them fight to get a draw out of the game. From what I'm watching now it looks like it could be 4-0 at the end of this series.

Josh Roberts: Waking up to find that Virat Kohli has destroyed England and basically won the Test for.

I can't see how England can win from this position. Can they bat to secure a draw? They'll have to do extremely well to do so. There's a messy innings around the corner and I can only see it being England's.

Feeling very ill with flu, can't sleep. Got to take the positives - it gives me a chance to watch the best player in the world in his element. I'm in England fan but you can't help but love the way this man plays!

This is now Virat Kohli's highest Test score. It's the 13th time he's beaten his highest score in Tests, which is more than any other player.

Adil Rashid bowled a poor couple of overs and it got the momentum with India straight away. It's been another masterclass from Virat Kohli but Jayant Yadav looks a tremendous cricketer that India have produced in this series.

Matthew Bristow: Dear @bbctms, external my wicket alerts on the @BBCSport, external app have stopped working. I expect you'll fix this in time for England's innings.

I hope the England players have watched how Virat Kohli has played. Yes, he's on a different planet at time but he's not hit a lot of balls in the air.
