    Plunkett b Bumrah 0 (127-9)

We can't keep up! I don't think the word 'collapse' does this any justice. Plunkett advances down the wicket, misses it and the ball clatters the stumps.

    What a spell!

There is going to be no arguments about who wins man of the match tonight.

Jordan st Dhoni b Chahal 0 (Eng 127-8)

Chahal has six! He is destroying England. Chris Jordan dances down and misses, giving Dhoni a straightforward task to stump and dismiss him. Delirium in the stands. This is a major collapse. England's tour is ending in embarrassment.

  4. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 15.4 overs

    Stokes c Raina b Chahal 6 (Eng 127-6)

It looks like Stokes gets hold of one... but no ... what a catch that is from Suresh Raina on the boundary! He gets two hands to it but looks like he is about to topple over. He steadies himself and manages to keep his balance, ending up on one leg and crouching over the boundary rope.

The two-paced nature of the pitch makes it hard for batsmen to get going in the first couple of balls.

  6. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 15.1 overs

    Moeen c Kohli b Chahal 2 (Eng 123-6)

England are crumbling. Moeen goes high as opposed to long off Chahal. Kohli waves everyone else away, moves in from long off and claims the catch. Four wickets for Chahal. He has ripped the heart out of the tourists.

Eng need 203 runs to win

Moeen Ali joins Stokes at the wicket. Four consecutive singles to end the over. England need fours and sixes ... they need something special right now.

  8. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 14.2 overs

    Buttler c Kohli b Bumrah 0 (Eng 119-5)

Game over? Probably. Bumrah digs one in short and it is quickly on to Buttler, who tries to pull but succeeds only in skewing the ball up for Kohli to catch at mid-off. What a little period this has been for the home side. They have swung this game completely in their favour.

Eng need 203 runs to win

So two new batsmen at the crease - Stokes and Buttler. They don't really have any time to get their eye in, but do these two need time?

Two dot balls from Chahal ends the over. 84 needed from 36 balls - it's a tough ask.

He didn't get any bat on it and Yuzvendra Chahal is delighted with that one. He has got his side back in the game and now it's two new batsmen at the crease.

  11. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 13.4 overs

Root lbw Chahal 42 (Eng 119-4)

It is all going wrong for England now. Chahal makes it two in two with a ball that kicks on after Root goes back and traps the batsman bang in front. He went 13 balls without a boundary before succumbing.

On the plus side, England now have their biggest hitters at the crease.

You could sense the pressure mounting on Eoin Morgan as the man who had to stand up, but that is a big blow for England because he was looking good out there in the middle.

  13. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 14.3 overs

    Morgan c Pant b Chahal 40 (Eng 119-2)

The partnership is ended and it's the England captain who is making his way back to the dressing room. He top edges a slog-sweep and new boy Pant takes the catch at mid-wicket.

England will be pleased that Mishra is finished for the match. They had some leeway in that over because of the way they took apart Raina.

  15. dropped catch

    Dropped catchpublished at 13 overs

    Eng 117-2

Interesting outfit in the crowd - a Flash bodysuit with a native American headdress and Elton John glasses. Presumably, he couldn't decide which fancy dress to go with so just went for all of them. His attire says party, but his face tells a different story. Root looks like he's committed suicide with a miscued outside edge but two fielders converge at backward point and Yuvraj spills it.

It is still a brilliant over from Mishra, though. He mixes it up and concedes just three.

This is brilliant from Eoin Morgan. Virat Kohli tried to gamble and give himself extra options at the backend of the innings but Morgan has targeted Raina.

Big over from England ... big over for Morgan!

The top scorer from India's innings, Suresh Raina, turns his hand to the ball and England, needing runs, target the off-spinner.

Three maximums from Morgan punish some simple and short bowling from Raina.

This one could go down to the wire.

It's interesting that Virat Kohli is fielding at long-on. He clearly sees that as a key fielding position, even if it means he can't be closer to the action directing his other fielders.

    Eng need 203 to win

India win the first over after the break thanks to some superb fielding at long on and off. The diving men in the deep prevent at least one boundary off Mishra. Just six off the over. The run-rate is now up and over 12.
