    Dhoni c Rashid b Jordan 56 (Ind 191-5)

Short and into the body from Jordan and Dhoni can't quite connect, top-edging it and it's a dolly for Rashid at short fine leg.

  2. Ind 191-4published at 19.1 overs

Chris Jordan is England's go-to last over man. Their best death bowler. He starts poorly here, though, bowling very wide outside off to concede another extra before Dhoni hammers him down the ground for four.

  3. Ind 186-4published at 19 overs

Mills looks frustrated as Pant picks up a slower ball and manages to drag it to the leg side for four.

Despite that, it was excellent bowling from Mills. Nine off the over.

  4. Ind 181-4published at 18.2 overs

19-year-old Rishabh Pant makes his way to the middle for his debut. A lot of people are talking about this young man. The experienced Dhoni puts his arm round him and gives some words of encouragement.

Pant pulls his first ball in international cricket and runs through for a single.

That proves there is something for the bowlers in this format if they have skill. What a wonderful delivery.

  6. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 18.1 overs

    Yuvraj c Buttler b Mills 27 (Ind 177-4)

Mills out-foxes Yuvraj with a beautiful short, slower ball. It is dug in short, sticks in the pitch and is not picked by the India batsman, who still tries to get it away but succeeds only in edging it behind to Jos Buttler. A brutal cameo comes to an end.

  7. Ind 177-3published at 18 overs

He's hitting them high! High and far!!

These two are turning back the years and now it's Yuvraj who turns on the style!

Three big sixes and a four ruin Jordan's figures as he goes for 24 in that over.

    Is 200-plus on the cards?

50 for Dhonipublished at 17.1 overs

The 35-year-old former captain reaches his 50 with a single. It's been a top innings with some big shots, clever dabs and good running.

Believe it or not it's his first half-century in T20 internationals.

Another reason why Ben Stokes' bowling is so impressive here is that the ball is wet and he is having to dry it with a towel between deliveries.

  11. Ind 153-3published at 17 overs

You get nothing for length on here as a bowler. Stokes is too full and Dhoni's eyes light up. One big swing later and the ball is down the ground for four. Stokes hits back with a very good yorker that dips and gives Dhoni no chance.

India's keeper is up for this challenge, though, and he clears his front leg to club another full ball flat and just short of the rope at long on.

This is a real heavyweight battle between two world-class competitors.

  12. Ind 142-3published at 16 overs

Morgan turns to pace as Tymal Mills is brought back into the attack.

England's T20 specialist doesn't quite get his first delivery right as Dhoni guides it effortlessly off his legs through to the fine leg boundary.

Some good variation with short and slower balls restrict India for the rest of the over.

T20 not as interesting when a nudge goes for a 4 or 6. Boundaries are too short.

  14. Ind 132-3published at 15 overs

Stokes returns to keep up the pressure after the wicket. He does a superb job for four deliveries, which go for just three singles, before Dhoni shows all his skill and experience with a very late cut, rolling his wrists over the shot to keep the ball down and in to the gap for four. He is the main man for India now.

  15. Ind 124-3published at 14 overs

Yuvraj Singh is the new man in. The batsmen crossed so Dhoni is on strike and some nice running from the veteran gets him four runs from the next two balls. Plunkett comes back with a good yorker to end the over.

A breakthrough for England but India will still be looking to get a big total.

That's a really good ball from Liam Plunkett, He rolled his fingers over it, but Suresh Raina has given his side a really good platform here.

  17. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 13.3 overs

    Raina c Morgan b Plunkett 63 (Ind 120-3)

With Rashid having being battered out of the attack, Plunkett returns and he strikes. After Dhoni hits him for a straight six he prompts Raina into a drive that he doesn't get enough of, sending the ball to the retreating Morgan at deep mid-off. A timely blow from England.

It's a good job Raina missed that because a top edge would have gone flying up into the air. Buttler had no chance behind the stumps.

  19. 6 runs

    Ind 113-2published at 13 overs

Raina, dripping with sweat, calls for a fresh pair of gloves.

And they seem to do the trick as he advances down the wicket and absolutely smashes one straight past the bowlers head for a six. He really got hold of that one!

The final ball of Moeen's over is a cracker. It gets huge spin but misses the bat, fools Buttler and goes down to the boundary for four byes.
