Danielle Wyatt is one of the smallest players on the field today - but has plenty of power as she takes Nashra for a huge six over mid-wicket, then the bowler only has herself to blame as she can't hold onto a return catch.
To give any Pakistan fans following this some respite - here's Katherine Brunt's dismissal:
Sadia 10-0-74-0
Sadia Yousaf will be the first Pakistan bowler to complete her spell - it won't be one she'll remember in a hurry, four singles and some more calamitous fielding, letting through a four, means she takes her cap (metaphorically, as she's one of those who keeps it on to bowl) having gone for seven-and-a-half an over.
A fluent sweep brings Wilson her first four, the England sixth-wicket pair are busy between the wickets and Wyatt helps herself to her fourth four over cover - she has 24 from 16 balls, vindicating her promotion up the over.

Piazza Sempione: Incredibly proud of Natalie Sciver, a former student at The British School, Warsaw, on her maiden century!
Wyatt 17, Wilson 3
Substitute fielder Diana Baig has had a long stint out there because of Bismah Maroof's hand injury (which must put her ability to bat in question) - but despite having taken those two high catches, she lets herself down in the field here as she can't grasp a Wyatt off-drive cleanly and spills the ball over the boundary for four. Some good running brings England nine from the over.

England have made 300 in three of the last four times they have played Pakistan.

John Bartlett: How is that Sciver's first hundred? She looks excellent! Also, first Japan-born cricketer at a World Cup?
Jim Dale: Stunning stuff! Take a bow, Nat Sciver.
Here's how it all ended for Sciver:
Nashra 8-0-57-1
Belatedly, Fran Wilson gets to the crease after her impressive knock against India. Bat raised high in the manner of Jonny Bairstow (or Graham Gooch for those of us with longer memories), she pushes a single through point - while Wyatt's drive to long-off takes England to the magic 300 figure.

Katherine would have been itching to get in for this situation. That's a real shame because she can do serious damage at the back end of an innings. No doubt she will be keen to get out there with the ball and do some damage there instead.
Brunt b Nashra 9 (Eng 298-5)
After thumping successive fours through mid-wicket, it's a tame end for Katherine Brunt as she edges onto her stumps.

Danielle Wyatt is probably one of the most talented cricketers in Englad if not the world. We just want her to go on, we've seen with Tammy Beaumont who had quite a slow start but has gone on to dominate. We know Wyatt is capable of these amazing cameo innings but at times when she's got that longer time to bat you want her to show what she can do.
Here's how Heather Knight's innings was ended as she was caught in the deep for 106.
Wyatt 10, Brunt 1
Katherine Brunt is perfectly capable of some big hitting, but for now she's off the mark with a single. Wyatt, playing her 50th ODI today, swipes a four past the keeper and follows it up with another through the covers. That's 10 from the over. Eight overs left.

The final figures on that innings from Natalie Sciver: 92 balls, 14 fours and those four huge sixes.
While you're getting your breath back, take a look at Heather Knight's audacious reverse-sweep which brought up her maiden ODI century.
So we have the odd situation where England have two new batters at the crease - neither of them have faced a ball yet. Wyatt tips-and-runs a single and has to pull out the full-length dive to get off the mark.

Brilliant from Nat Sciver, she has capitalised on some poor bowling and field settings at times but you still have to score the runs and that's the sort of exciting cricket these girls want to be playing. When they are in Loughborough they range hit and see how far they can hit it.
