  1. Ind 184-3published at 34.5 overs

Australia's lack of a sixth bowling option - they obviously aren't willing to risk Elyse Villani's occasional medium pace - is coming back to bite them here as Kaur whacks Beams for another four, closing in on that century...

The wheels are off here a bit for Australia. That was so wide and she's somehow manged to flick that over fine leg.

Australia have been sloppy in the field and it is very unlike them. They're always so clinical. It shows that they're under pressure here in such a big game.

  3. 6 runs

    Ind 175-3published at 34 overs

    Kaur 92, Sharma 18

A switch of angles for left-arm spinner Jonassen as she bowls over the wicket to the right-handed Kaur, who tries a sweep and it deflects past the keeper for a couple. Then she really cuts loose with a massive six over long-on - that's the 100th six of the tournament! Has there ever been as many at a Women's World Cup? Jonassen then fires one down the leg side - it would have been a wide if Kaur had left it - but she gets a bat on it and it disappears for four. Another end-of-the-over-pinch-the-strike leaves her with 92 from 86 balls - and leaves Australia with problems.

Kaur is obviously very clear on what her plan is. She's very good under pressure and a clear thinker and that's what the best batters in the world are very good at.

  5. Ind 160-3published at 33 overs

Australia keep one potential Perry over up their sleeves as Beams returns, but she's lost a bit of the control she had in her early overs. Kaur powerfully drives through the covers to an unprotected boundary for four - and having nicked the strike, she moves to 78 from 81 balls, and must surely have three figures in her sights.

As Harmanpreet Kaur moves up through the gears, here's the boundary which brought up her fifty.

What India have done really well is rotate the strike, tip and run. You can't always say that they have done that in the past. It was led by Mithali Raj. It's been good stuff.

  8. Ind 152-3published at 32 overs

    Kaur 72, Sharma 15

Left-arm spinner Jess Jonassen back on. The "score predictor" reckons India will score 210, which I think would be challenging in this reduced-overs game. But India will be aiming higher than that if Harmanpreet Kaur stays in - a loose delivery is bludgeoned over mid-wicket for a first-bounce four. Ashleigh Gardner then concedes four when she slips on the wet outfield and her foot touches the rope as she tries to flick the ball back. In any event, India had run three as Lanning, unable to throw, could only flick the ball back underarm.

Kaur has shot all around the wicket. She is quite brilliant, she can access so much of the ground.

  10. Ind 142-3published at 31 overs

Perry, in for her eighth over, is charged with a couple of wides by umpire Shaun George. India look happy to see her better deliveries off - there's not a lot of depth in Australia's seam attack today - and Kaur shows her class as she steps across and whips a delivery from off stump through backward square leg for four. A single means she has 63 from 72 balls.

Oh, you're going to want to watch this. Check out the "moon ball" from Beams which lands at gully, and earns India a free hit which Raut blasts for six.

  12. Ind 132-3published at 30 overs

    Kaur 57, Sharma 12

Ashleigh Gardner resumes proceedings at the Racecourse End - and Deepti Sharma finds the boundary for the first time. With a slip in, the left-hander steers a four through backward point.

While the players are still having drinks, take a quick look at the three wickets to fall so far today:

I say "drinks" - I definitely saw one of the Indian reserves running on with a banana for one of their batsmen. Good to see their energy needs - and potassium levels - are being looked after. We have 13 overs left.

Unsurprisingly, after that erratic over from Beams, Australia turn back to Ellyse Perry (back in the East Midlands where she plays for Loughborough Lightning, and just down the road from where her husband plays rugby for Leicester) for a bit of control. India run some quick singles - including one very risky one which would have meant the end of Sharma if the throw to the bowler's end had hit - and a two off the last ball means it's six off the over. Time for drinks.

Harmanpreet Kaur's six was the 99th of the tournament.

Here's the ball from Kristen Beams which dismissed Mithali Raj.

  18. Ind 120-3published at 28 overs

Kaur is busy against Gardner, and brings a good piece of fielding from Elyse Villani on the long-off boundary - Villani makes a tumbling stop and just prevents herself from touching the ball while her leg was in contact with the boundary. Suddenly Gardner's not quite on the money, a juicy full toss is despatched to fine leg by Sharma, Australia will be pleased to get away with a single. That's 18 off the last two overs for India.

A slip of the lip could sink a ship, but a slip of the wrist can cost you seven runs.
