    Lancashire 593 v Hampshire 395 & 108-8

Just two more needed for Lancashire!

I was calling for Jimmy Anderson but it is Ryan McLaren after his 100 yesterday who makes the breakthrough getting Lewis McManus out lbw.

I think this one is definitely when not if.

    Worcestershire 336 & 187-2 v Kent 260 & 474

Increased intent from Joe Clarke for Worcestershire.

He hits boundaries off Darren Stevens and Yasir Shah to move into the teens. 212 to win now in these final two sessions.

Colin Ingram brings Glamorgan's 200 up at Chester-le-Street. They are slowly stretching their lead towards 100 and taking time out of the game.

  3. Essex start hunt for final wicketspublished at 14:05 British Summer Time 22 June 2017

    Essex 541-9 dec v Warwickshire 283 & 90-8

Here they come after their lunchtime sarnies at Essex. Simon Walter starts the proceedings again with a tight over but Tim Abmbrose takes a single off the last ball to keep the strike.

No surprise it is Simon Harmer at the other end. He's looking for his 13th wicket of the match. What a signing the South African has been.

The league leaders are two wickets away.

    Worcestershire 336 & 177-2 v Kent 260 & 474

No immediate sign of aggression after lunch from Worcestershire as Joe Clarke plays himself in in chase of this total of 399.

The overall run rate is still over four an over with 61 overs left and 224 runs needed.

Just singles so far though after lunch with Yasir Shah and Darren Stevens keeping it tight.

  6. Durham hunting first winpublished at 13:52 British Summer Time 22 June 2017

    Durham 402 v Glamorgan 295 & 193-7

How quick can Durham knock these last three Glamorgan wickets over?

It is Barry McCarthy and spinner Ryan Pringle in the attack after lunch. Durham are yet to win this season don't forget.

No wickets in the first couple of overs after the break. The Glamorgan lead is 86.

    Lancashire 593 v Hampshire 395 & 82-7

Back out at Old Trafford after lunch.

Not Jimmy Anderson, who is one short of a five-fer, first up but Jordan Clark with the ball in hand.

Three wickets needed for Lancs to get the win.

Just how big a blow to Worcestershire's chances was losing Moeen Ali right before the break?

The England batsman was the aggressor in this chase making 63 from 55 while Daryl Mitchell has 59 from 117.

Joe Clarke is the new man who hit a century in the first innings so hope is not lost.

Will Worcester get the 235 they need? Can Kent get eight wickets for the win? Or will both sides run out of time and a draw called?

All three results are very much possible.

There has been a little presentation on the field at Chelmsford to mark Neil Wagner's last game for the county.

The New Zealander has taken 23 wickets in seven matches this campaign.

His replacement for the league leaders? Pakistan's Mohammad Amir. A terrifying thought for the chasing pack in Division One.

I don't think we've had one tweet this morning saying Haseeb Hameed should be picked. A reflection of his poor start to the season, I'm afraid.

I reckon we'll have Division One done and dusted in this session but there is still a bit to go in the two games in the second division.

There could be two exciting finishes to come. Don't go anywhere.

This match has been a great advertisement for Championship cricket already, and at lunch on the final day it’s still anyone’s guess who’ll win it.

When the wily Darren Stevens removed Brett D’Oliveira’s off stump for 27, Kent were firm favourites to win here at New Road, but then half-centuries for both Daryl Mitchell and Moeen Ali appeared to sway things in Worcestershire’s favour as they gobbled up the runs towards their victory target of 399.

Then Yasir Shah trapped Mooen in front for 63 the last ball before lunch to have spectators and pundits third-guessing their predictions.

Worcestershire need another 235 for victory.

  20. Harmer making friends in Chelmsfordpublished at 13:09 British Summer Time 22 June 2017

    Essex 541-9 dec v Warwickshire 283 & 84-8

    Mike Taylor
    BBC WM

There has been a great deal of excitable chatter here in Chelmsford over the last couple of days, and little wonder, as Essex underline their prospects of a first Championship title in a generation.

A fourth win in seven games is all but certain to arrive this afternoon. Much of the credit will go to Simon Harmer, who has quickly become very popular here, not only for his wicket-taking ability, but for being, to paraphrase all I have heard talk about him, just being a good bloke.

He will not need to buy many rounds to toast this victory, having taken 12 of the 18 Warwickshire wickets to fall so far, the largest bag of his first-class career.

The pitch is certainly helping him now, but he has bowled with admirable control, persistence and variety over the last two days. His dozenth victim, Jeetan Patel, would be forgiven for thinking that it could have been him if the coin had landed the other side up on Monday morning, but that's the game.
