  1. Lancashire 162-4published at 19 overs

Six runs and a wicket off the 19th over. Yorkshire will be delighted with that.

  2. wicket

WICKET Brown (b Patterson) 61published at 18.4 overs

    Lancashire 160-4

A bit of a comedy dismissal for Karl Brown, who tries a ramp shot off Steven Patterson and succeeds only in ramping the ball onto his own stumps.

That shouldn't take away from what's been a very, very good innings from Brown - 61 off 47 balls for the Bolton-born opener.

  3. Lancashire eyeing late flurry of runspublished at 18 overs

    Lancashire 157-3

    James Taylor
Ex-England batsman on BBC Radio 5 live sports extra

I imagine Tim Bresnan will bowl the final over.

Karl Brown and Ryan McLaren will be looking to get at least 10-15 runs each off the next two overs.

  4. Leicestershire ease past Worcestershirepublished at 20:09 British Summer Time 14 July 2017

    Around the grounds

As predicted, we have our first result of the evening as Leicestershire reach a measly target of 149 with eight balls to spare. Colin Ackermann (47) hit the winning runs as they finished on 149-5, but it was bowler Clint McKay (5-11) who did the damage to opponents Worcestershire.

The T20 Blast may draw in a younger crowd, but it's two relatively old names that are impressing with the bat. Michael Carberry has thrashed four sixes on his way to an unbeaten 63 for Hampshire, who are 150-2 into the 16th over against Middlesex, while Ian Bell made exactly 50 for Birmingham Bears, who have six overs to add to their 122-4 against Northants.

Kent have started their reply against Sussex, with Joe Denly and Daniel Bell-Drummond at the crease - a reminder they need a hefty 206 runs to triumph.

  5. Lancashire 157-3published at 18 overs

Fifteen off the over from David Willey. Two more overs to come.

  6. Lancashire 152-3published at 16.1 overs

It's not been David Willey's night so far.

The Yorkshire all-rounder dropped a chance to dismiss Karl Brown early on, and the Lancashire batsmen have taken a liking to his bowling.

A full toss is smashed through point for four, and as it was above waist height, the next ball will be a free hit too.

Smashed for four on the leg side by Ryan McLaren. That's the 150 up.

  7. dropped catch

    Lancashire 142-3published at 17 overs

New batsman Ryan McLaren is straight into the action with a reverse-swept four off Adil Rashid.

Opener Karl Brown is still there - just - as Tom Kohler-Cadmore spills a steepling chance on the boundary.

With wickets in hand, can Lancashire find a final flourish?

  8. Yorkshire turn up the heatpublished at 16 overs

    Lancashire 133-3

    James Taylor
Ex-England batsman on BBC Radio 5 live sports extra

That was an exceptional catch there from Adam Lyth - one that you would expect him to take, but the fact Vilas hit it so flat and he had to move forward to catch it made it tough.

It's a timely wicket from Yorkshire - they've been building the pressure.

  9. Lancashire 133-3published at 16 overs

    Rafiq 4-0-26-2

Azeem Rafiq's spell is over, and it's been a good one. The spinner has dragged Yorkshire back into this one with a couple of wickets.

  10. wicket

WICKET Vilas (c Lyth b Rafiq) 7published at 15.2 overs

    Lancashire 129-3

A brief innings from Dane Vilas is ended by another superb catch in the deep, this time by Adam Lyth.

One South African replaces another, as Ryan McLaren strides to the crease with just under five overs to go.

  11. Lancashire 124-2published at 14 overs

The spinners are doing the damage - or at least limiting it - for Yorkshire.

Azeem Rafiq continues with another relatively tidy over which goes for only five.

Still, though, the home fans, each of them sporting red caps which were placed on every seat, are loving life.

  12. Kent set big target by Surreypublished at 19:52 British Summer Time 14 July 2017

Surrey have made that magic 200 figure with two balls to spare. Ollie Pope has thumped some late runs, and despite two wickets for Adam Milne, Kent will need 206 to win this one.

Toby Roland-Jones narrowly missed out on England selection for their first two Tests against South Africa, but the Middlesex seamer has a wicket to his name tonight, with Hampshire 105-2 after 12 overs.

Colin Ackermann is leading Leicestershire towards victory against Worcestershire - he's hit a relatively measured 35 from 26 balls to put his side 106-4 from 14 overs, needing 43 more runs to win.

  13. Lancashire 119-2published at 13 overs

Some more really good stuff from Adil Rashid, whose variations are too difficult to pick for Karl Brown and the new man in, Dane Vilas.

Only four runs come from a stingy over as Yorkshire just begin to drag it back a little.

Still, with Brown looking imperious you'd sooner be in the home side's shoes here.

  14. 50 runs

50 for Karl Brownpublished at 12.2 overs

    Lancashire 117-2

A superb effort from the Lancashire opener, who has got to his half-century off 32 balls.

  15. wicket

    WICKET Buttler (c Kohler-Cadmore b Rafiq) 28published at 12 overs

    Lancashire 115-2

Have some of that, Azeem Rafiq!

Karl Brown continues to flash the blade, this time blasting his first six of the innings, bringing up the 50 partnership in the process.

But Rafiq bites back, forcing Jos Buttler to skew an attempted drive into the offside high into the air and into the diving hands of Tom Kohler-Cadmore. A really smart catch and an important one too.

  16. Lancashire 106-1published at 11 overs

Jos Buttler is the ultimate 360 batsman. We've already had a six down the ground and a reverse sweep for four, and now he's brought his trademark scoop out of the toy box too.

After a relatively conventional scoop for four - if you can call a scoop conventional - he plays an even sillier version of the stroke, actually having to generate some power to a slower ball from Ben Coad in bringing up a second boundary past the wicketkeeper's bonce.

He's absolutely raced to 27 from 15, while Karl Brown remains on 41 from 28.

  17. 'It's too easy for Buttler'published at 10 overs

    Lancashire 93-1

    James Taylor
Ex-England batsman on BBC Radio 5 live sports extra

The skill he possesses is something else - the talent the man has, the power he has, is exceptional.

He finds the boundary at free will, doesn't he? It's too easy for Jos Buttler sometimes, this game.

Live radio commentary of all five T20 Blast matches can be found at the top of the page.

  18. Lancashire 93-1published at 10 overs

We'll have spin from both ends now, as Azeem Rafiq comes into the attack to bowl in tandem with Adil Rashid.

But he gets a dose of the Jos Buttler treatment too, a reverse sweep for four the only boundary of an otherwise solid opening over.

At the midway point of their innings the home side are looking very well positioned. If Buttler sticks around, they'll be going well beyond 200 from here you'd have thought.

  19. 6 runs

    Lancashire 83-1published at 9 overs

    Hello, Jos Buttler!

Adil Rashid continues to probe, frustrating Buttler with a couple of dots, but he's not to be frustrated for long.

Buttler smashes his England team-mate for six down to long on, just about clearing the fielder on the rope to a Red Rose roar.

  20. Surrey on course for season's best?published at 19:32 British Summer Time 14 July 2017

    James VinceImage source, Rex Features

They might have just lost Kumar Sangakkara, but could Surrey get close to the 227-5 Yorkshire scored against Notts this time last week? They're 154-3 after 14 overs against Kent, and could become only the second side to top 200 runs in this year's competition.

Elsewhere, Leicestershire have just lost Luke Ronchi, but look relatively comfortable on 61-2 in the eighth over, chasing 149 to win against Worcestershire.

James Vince struck 34 from 15 balls for Hampshire but has fallen - his side are 54-1 into the sixth over against Middlesex, and Ian Bell is on 27 and counting for Birmingham Bears, who are 66-1 against Northants after eight overs.
