  1. Hants 16-0published at 1 over

    Afridi 16, Dickinson 0

What a start for Hampshire. What a start for Pakistani all-rounder Shahid Afridi!

The 37-year-old slog sweeps Wayne Madsen for a couple of boundaries before belting him straight down the ground and over the rope.

He finishes things by smacking him over cover. 16 off the first over. Wow.

  6. A return to their second home?published at 18:21 British Summer Time 22 August 2017

    Derbyshire v Hampshire (18:30 BST)

While Derbyshire struggled, Hampshire enjoyed unprecedented success in Twenty20 cricket from 2010 to 2015.

Six-straight Finals Days saw them lift the trophy twice in 2010 and 2012.

Following last year's group stage demise, they're back into the knockout round after ending up third in the tightest of South Groups.

On paper, they're the favourites - but this my friends, is the T20 Blast.

  7. Time to put the record straightpublished at 18:19 British Summer Time 22 August 2017

    Derbyshire v Hampshire (18:30 BST)

Falcons fans have had a long wait for a shot at making it to Finals Day. A VERY long wait.

Their only quarter-final came in 2005 and since then it's been 11-straight group stage exits.

This year has been somewhat different. Eight wins in the North Group saw them finish second.

Wayne Madsen scored runs for fun, and Imran Tahir took 17 wickets.

They'll surely never get a better chance to make the showpiece event at Edgbaston on 2 September?

Good evening and welcome to the first T20 Blast quarter-final of 2017. Hope you are well?

The two teams meeting tonight have somewhat contrasting records in England's domestic T20 competition.

This is only the second time Derbyshire have made it out of the group stage in 15 years.

Their opponents Hampshire are two-time winners.

Who will make it through to Finals Day? All of the action gets under way in about 15 minutes...
