Alastair Cook has just denigrated my entire profession by saying "so basically, you say what you see?"
I'd love to say there's more to it than that, Alastair, but, er, there isn't. When you say it like that it sounds significantly less impressive.

BBC Sport at Weetwood Park
The returning hero with Captain Tufnell. Coach Agnew less impressed. "You should have got to 29 then hit a six".
That's one way to bring up your 50 - smashing your former international captain for six! That gets Ebony off the mark as she deposits Charlotte Edwards into a nearby hospitality tent.
Ebony is wearing a helmet, which is ambitious.
Here's Phil Tufnell's teamtalk from a little earlier...
Daggers makes Marcel by promptly smacking Vaughan down the ground for six, before retiring on 32. He can, of course, come back out a bit a later on, should his side suddenly collapse. It'll be Ebony Rainford-Brent next at the crease.
Marcel has dropped a catch! An absolutely filthy, disgusting, utterly appalling delivery from Michael Vaughan - calling it a moon ball would be unfair - comes down towards Daggers, he swings, gets an edge - and Marcel shells it at slip! Terrible cricket from everyone involved, there. Well done fellas.
Jim Carter
Guest Test Match Special commentator
I've got a new-found respect for Daggers. He's a monster with the bat in hand. A beast!
Harry Judd is the next man at the crease, waiting to face Charlotte Edwards, while Charles Dagnall waits at the other end.
There's a perfectly normal, every day sentence.
Joly c Mann b Edwards 7 (Team Agnew 39-2)
There we go! Dom Joly decides he want to thrash Charlotte Edwards' latest delivery into the crowd, completely misses it and gets an edge to Simon Mann at slip.
Greg James has just had the option of taking a catch, or carrying on his phone conversation. And he's opted to carry on with the phone call. Admirable, really.

Henry Blofeld's commentary is being played to the crowd. There's a cheer for the first mention of a pigeon.
Alastair Cook is currently on commentary duty, and he's highly appreciative as Daggers smashes an Isa Guha long hop away to the boundary. A big lbw appeal against Dom Joly is turned down by the umpire, before Daggers stands tall and smashes a straight six into the pavilion! He's no mug with a bat.
Talk us through this shot, ey, Swanny?

Sandra Bambling: Used to spend Saturday afternoons at Roundhay Park watching my Dad play cricket. Changed a bit today
Shot! Short and wide from Blake, and given the treatment by Daggers, who crashes it through the covers for four. That's a brave shot to play to a man who you suspect isn't shy of sending a bouncer down. Greg James is now fielding at slip but luckily, his fielding duties haven't distracted him from his telephone call, which he's carrying on with while Daggers thrashes Blake for another four.
Ex-England internationals James Taylor is one of our umpires today. Obviously there'll be no bias involved in any decision making...

Six! A loopy full toss from Isa Guha is given the treatment by Dom Joly, who slaps it into the crowd before raising his bat to the crowd and drinking in their applause.

My boys need to relax into this a bit. There's a lot of nervous energy knocking about.
