Target 170
Ugh. A full delivery comes Cameron Bancroft's way, and he pushes delightfully down the ground for a boundary. Woakes goes for the short ball but Bancroft has his eye in now, and he can duck them easily. Warner then cuts through midwicket for another leisurely single.
Australia need 117 more runs to win this Test. We've got about 17 overs left today. Short of David Warner doing a David Warner, we'll be coming back tomorrow.
To those of you waking up - this is probably more like the sort of scorecard you were expecting when this tour began.
England were bowled out for 195, setting Australia 170 to win. Joe Root was the top scorer with 51 as people got starts, and couldn't go on.
David Warner is just starting to cut loose and England are, it has to be said, looking a tad flat as Australia march their way to 53-0.
Target 170
David Warner doesn't just hit a cricket ball. He smashes it. A vicious cut is kept away from the boundary by the sweeper, before Moeen changes his line and bowls straight. Another lusty blow goes through the covers for a couple, just narrowly avoiding leaving a nasty bruise on Mark Stoneman's rear end. Oh, that's rubbish from Moeen, wide and floaty, and Warner gets down on one knee and leathers it for a one-bounce four.
That's drinks. Not a moment too soon for England.

For the first time in the match there is some body language suggesting real dejection from England.
Target 170
He is, Chris. Moeen's not getting the turn Lyon found, but because England just let Lyon bowl at them, Steve Smith was able to rotate his fast bowlers around. Now Australia have started going after Moeen, Joe Root's going to need another plan. Chris Woakes bends his back to whistle down a bouncer, and Cameron Bancroft gets straight under it, before this pair continue their fine running with a speedy two.

Chris Gordon: Watching the live blog here it seems the impact of Lyon is being missed. Being able to rely on him to hold an end down and get a sneaky wicket or two means the pressure is always on. At the moment once Broad and Anderson are off it all looks pretty easy going.
Warner 21, Bancroft 20
Yep, David Warner's done with this prodding about malarkey. There's no spin for Moeen, and Warner just dances down the pitch and launches Moeen over . Actually, Warner didn't connect with that cleanly. It came off the toe of the bat, and it's still gone into the rope. Moeen responds by spearing a delivery in flatter as he sees Warner on the move, and the opener ends up slashing at fresh air.

The problem in this game is that England's tail has been blown away twice. That's going to keep happening once England are six wickets down.
Ooft. That is a full-blooded pull from David Warner, and it's the first time he's picked up more than a single as he and Cameron Bancroft run two. He then opens the face of the bat and guides the ball through a tempting space between slip and gully to pick up his first boundary. Bancroft faces the final ball of the over, and lets it bounce over his stumps. It does look oh so simple for Australia at the minute.
...you were hoping England were still batting, right? But no, Australia ripped through the lower order, taking the final four wickets for just 10 runs, meaning they need 170 to win the first Test.
Resuming on 33-2, England had some good moments today - Joe Root and Moeen Ali batting well together after Mark Stoneman and Dawid Malan fell cheaply to Nathan Lyon.
England's captain passed 50 but then was out next ball, lbw to Josh Hazlewood.
Moeen led a recovery with Jonny Bairstow before he was given out stumped to Lyon. Controversy abounds with this one - Moeen judged to have no part of his foot behind the (slightly wobbly) line in one of the tightest calls you're likely to see.
Bairstow then had a brain fade and picked out third man just before tea, with Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins then quickly running through the tail.
Warner 9, Bancroft 20
Ooh. Moeen has half a yelp as he strikes Warner on the pad, but it's a bit too much to the leg side to trouble Warner. Warner goes on the move and works another single, before Cameron Bancroft swings his arms, and swings them beautifully! Six! That is a fine strike from Bancroft, who seems to prefer Moeen's spin to Woakes' pace.

Jonathan Barton: Vince running himself out when set, Malan falling for trap when set, Australia 76-4 and 209-7. Even Bairstow's dismissal when looking like England might get a half decent lead. All massive points in the game that England lost. Frustrating.
Andrew Pope: A mediocre England performance against an even more mediocre Aussie side. Never get a better chance to win a series in their back yard but yet again we shoot ourselves in the foot with poor batting.
Oh! Everyone behind the stumps - although, interestingly, not Jonny Bairstow at first - go up as Bancroft pushes forward at Chris Woakes.
"You sure?" Root says to Cook, and Cook shakes his head. That was indeed pad hitting bat, rather than anything on the ball. Bancroft gets turned slightly as he pops a delivery away, and that's a maiden for Woakes first up.
Another change for England, with Chris Woakes brought into the attack. He'll have to bowl better than he did in the first innings.
Is this clutching at straws? (Answer: yes)
Target 170
Cameron Bancroft is on the move straight away to Moeen, coming down the pitch to work a single off his pads, before Warner hustles and bustles from inside the crease. He nabs a quick single, before Moeen tidies off the over.
Hello, here's Moeen. Can he do a Nathan Lyon?

England had seven chances for a batsman to go on and make a century across the two innings. Just one guy making 100+ would have made all the difference.
