My colleague, feeling positive, has predicted 10 wickets in the match for Nathan Lyon.

Mason Crane's middle name is Sidney, which is apt.
Bit grim out at the SCG, I'm afraid. The toss has been delayed. The TV types are currently sheltering under huge umbrellas.

Grim. Can't see how we start on time.
Vic Marks
Ex-England spinner on BBC Test Match Special
I didn't think they should have picked Crane originally. But, given the tour party they have, yes he should play. He has impressed England - he is sparky, he is up for it, he loves the challenge.
Former England spinner Graeme Swann has handed a bashful Mason Crane his Test cap.
"If I could give you any advice - take a minute today, soak it all up and love every minute. Trust me, when it goes, you'll miss it."

The big news for England is that Mason Crane will be making his Test debut today, with Chris Woakes missing because of a side strain.
He made his first-class debut aged 18 for Hampshire and his first wicket was the tremendously handy scalp of Kumar Sangakkara.
He played grade cricket for Sydney club Gordon last winter, taking 45 wickets and earning himself a call-up to the New South Wales team.
Hello! If you're still with us, then I congratulate you on your hardiness and tenacity.
Welcome to our coverage of the fifth and final Ashes Test of this series. England, having performed well on a rubbish pitch in Melbourne, will be hoping to build on that performance. Australia, boosted by the return of Mitch Starc, will be cranking the pace up a notch as they search for a 4-0 series win.
England have now gone nine Tests without a win in Australia.
The Ashes are already gone, but can they salvage something from the final Test?
