I think it's missing leg by quite some distance.

England are going to be disappointed again. There's a chance it's an inside edge too.

That's looking to me like it could be going down the leg side.

Tom Curran gets a straight one past Mitch Marsh's bat and onto the pads.

Given out lbw but after brief consultation with his brother, Marsh junior reviews it.

James Wroath: For me Test cricket is the pinnacle but this series has been a severe ‘test’ to watch, the pitches are so dull.

Moeen sends it down short-ish and wide-ish and Shaun Marsh cuts it away for four to move into the 90s.

A century before the close is very much on the cards. There's another to the total, flicking to wide mid-on and taking on the arm of Stuart Broad.

Moeen then drifts onto Mitch's pads, and he flicks away for one.

It's a good day to be down at the beach today - and it's going to be even warmer tomorrow.

  8. Aus 460-4published at 152 overs

    S Marsh 88, M Marsh 54

Shaun returns Mitch to the strike and younger brother duly slashes away a short ball in front of square to the fence.

Better from Curran in reply, angling in the last ball and Marsh has to just defend.

Mitchell Marsh's half-century came from 64 balls in 110 minutes, with six fours and two sixes.

  10. 50 runs

Tom Curran in and short, allowing Mitchell Marsh to swivel and chip it into leg for the one run he needed to reach 50.

That's his third half-century in 24 Tests, with one hundred (which came at Perth of course).

He could well look to have some fun in the final few overs.

So glad this is the final Test. The sleep deprivation and disappointment are coming to an end!

And Moeen wheels through a tidy maiden, Shaun not looking to smash it about like younger brother Mitchell.

Cheers Amy, top work. A draining day (night) for all involved.

One last push - here is Moeen Ali to Shaun Marsh...

Well done, umpire Dharmesena. He's currently standing at square leg and he has to move quickly as Mitch Marsh pulls a short Curran ball right at him. Marsh grins and raises his bat in apology at Dharmasena, who is having a chuckle about it, at least.

A few singles worked here and there end the over. They're also the end of my stint, too - here's Jack Skelton to guide you home.

A double change for England - Tom Curran will replace Moeen Ali, who saw his two-over spell dispatched for 21 runs.

Mason Crane will win games for England. Why didn't they play him in Melbourne?

That's absolute tosh from Joe Root first up, a terrible half-volley, and Shaun Marsh doesn't miss out. The ball goes cracking away through the covers. It's been a long old day in the field.

Down the leg side goes Root and, thanks to the slow outfield, it only ends up costing him three, rather than four runs.

That might be Mason Crane's work over with for the day - with nine overs left, Joe Root is bringing himself on.

Moeen Ali is just not threatening. Mitchell Marsh is deciding when he wants a boundary.

  20. Aus 442-4published at 148 overs

    M Marsh 48, S Marsh 76

It's all going rather well for Moeen, right before Mitch Marsh comes careering out of his crease again and lofts the ball over mid-on. He didn't connect properly with that, either, but it's four more.

That's not quite so pretty from Marsh as he presses forward and plays all around the ball, which cannons into his pad and over the head of short leg.
