  1. Stokes hits 90 on returnpublished at 17:27 British Summer Time 6 July 2018

Some good news for England - Ben Stokes is on the mend.

The all-rounder played as a specialist batsman for Durham last night in the T20 Blast and, opening the batting, hit 90 from 68 balls. Just the eight fours and four sixes in that, too...

It wasn't enough to stop Durham slipping to a 44-run defeat by Yorkshire.

  6. India aim to play 'fearless' cricketpublished at 17:18 British Summer Time 6 July 2018

India captain Virat Kohli: "We would have bowled first as well. It looks a great track. But we wouldn't mind being in a position where we have to defend.

"This side has no baggage. Everyone is enjoying this country. We were clinical and on the money in the first match and we're looking forward to playing fearless cricket."

  7. Postpublished at 17:16 British Summer Time 6 July 2018

England got into a bit of bother against left-arm leggie Kuldeep Yadav in the opening match...

And they've been doing their homework since, according to Chris Jordan.

"Kuldeep wasn't unknown to us because he's played for India for a while and played in the Indian Premier League," the bowler said.

"We need to be in a position where we can capitalise and put pressure on him as much as possible but also be smarter."

  8. 'Good situation to be in'published at 17:14 British Summer Time 6 July 2018

England captain Eoin Morgan: "We fancy a chase. The wicket looks good and conditions are magnificent. India are strong against spin and the River Taff End is really short, making it difficult to bowl spin from that end.

"I hope Merlin helps. Only time will tell. Trying to replicate spin options is difficult. Hopefully it works.

"It’s a good situation to be in, under pressure to get a result. How we react to the result the other day is important."

  9. England bowl firstpublished at 17:12 British Summer Time 6 July 2018

Right, no messing around - we've had the toss, and England have won it.

They're having a bowl first. Just the one change, too, with Jake Ball coming in for Moeen Ali. India are unchanged.
