That was indeed the end of Mohammed Shami's spell - Ishant Sharma is into the attack.
He'll go round the wicket at Moeen Ali as well.

Cook 64, Moeen 23
Ravindra Jadeja drags it down and hangs it out wide, allowing Alastair Cook to crack it in front of square on the off side for four.
A yelp of anguish from Jadeja - Cook could have put that away with his eyes closed in any of his 161 Tests.
And Moeen gets bat on ball, driving it on the floor back to Shami for no run.
Is that the end of Shami's spell? Not sure how Moeen survived it.
Moeen leaves.

Shami has beaten Moeen again... this is like a broken record. I don't quite know how Moeen is managing to miss all of them.
It's yet another play and miss.
Mohammed Shami is bowling the same ball and Moeen Ali keeps conspiring to somehow not hit it despite playing at it.
Alastair Cook taps down the ground for a quick single.
That leaves Moeen Ali three deliveries to survive against Mohammed Shami.
Cook comes down the wicket to have a word.

Peter McMahon: Never mind the debate about Cook being England’s greatest batsman - with an average of 7 and a strike rate of 18, he’s surely England's greatest ever bowler.
Ravindra Jadeja rattles through another over and Alastair Cook picks up one more, guiding down to third man.
Jadeja isn't giving Mohammed Shami much time to recover between overs here.
He always did have excellent timing... Cook reaches fifty in his final Test...

That's the first time I've ever heard Simon Mann cheer a leave. It's been a tremendous spell from Shami, and Moeen has just lost his off stump. He looks like he's lost his bat as well!

Dan Hooper: All this talk of Moeen playing and missing and yet he's scored more than most of the top order this series. Keep it up Mo.
Shami sends yet another just past Moeen's outside edge and there is a brief appeal for caught behind.
The noise was bat on pad though.
Moeen wisely leaves the last ball well alone.
Shami has bowled superbly at him and I'm not sure how he's not gotten him out.

It's remarkable how Moeen is missing some of these deliveries because the ball's not doing anything.
Even the esteemed Andrew Samson might start losing track of all these players and misses by Moeen. It's just happened again.

I make that nine plays and misses from the last 21 balls that Shami has bowled to Moeen.
Moeen Ali just keeps playing and missing at Mohammed Shami.
I've lost count of how many times, but luckily there is a man who hasn't...
Alastair Cook slashes into the covers and picks up two on a misfield.
Ravindra Jadeja then serves up a full toss but Cook misses out, picking out mid-wicket.

I can see Ishant Sharma getting loose...
