  1. SA 250-9published at 47 overs

    Target 332

Even the fiercety competitive Marizanne Kapp seems to have accepted the situation - as she takes a single straight away, exposing Ntozakhe to the strike. But the number 11 is off the mark with a careful single. Marsh can't make the breakthrough. Can Brunt?

(A mere 82 needed from 18 balls, in case you were wondering - South Africa will soon need snookers).

Here's how it ended for Stacy Lackay:

  3. SA 245-9published at 46 overs

    87 needed from 24 balls

Raisibe Ntozsakhe is the number 11 - and the most difficult name of the 22 to type... she survives her first ball from Brunt.

  4. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 45.5 overs

    Khaka c Sciver b Brunt 1 (SA 245-9)

Nearly there! Khaka is snaffled by the safe hands of Nat Sciver, and England are one wicket from victory. Can Brunt pick up a third wicket?

  5. SA 245-8published at 45.4 overs

England now have Katherine Brunt available to bowl overs 46, 48 and 50 if needed, charging down the hill from the Cromwell Road End.

With the luxury of all those runs to play with, England can give Kapp a single in order to bowl at Khaka - Kapp wants a two here but Khaka sends her back.

  6. WATCH: Tryon caught by Wyatt off the bowling of Ecclestonepublished at 19:45 British Summer Time 12 June 2018

Here's the end of the big-hitting Chloe Tryon:

  7. SA 243-8published at 45 overs

    89 needed from 30 balls

Ayabonga Khaka joins Marizanne Kapp - the latter drills a fierce shot straight back at the bowler. Another booming drive to long-on is stopped by the tumbling Danni Wyatt to turn four into two, and England are closing on victory.

  8. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 44.3 overs

    Ismail c & b Marsh 3 (SA 241-8)

A big top-edge from the left-hander, Laura Marsh wants this... she calls off any nearby fielders and takes the skier herself.

England just need to close this out now.

  9. SA 241-7published at 44 overs

    Ecclestone 10-0-54-3

Ismail, SA's first left-handed batter in this series, faces Ecclestone's left-arm spin and knocks a single. Kapp sweeps, misses, Ecclestone appeals - but it looked to have hit her outside the line. Knight keeps it tight in the covers, and the teenage spinner finishes with 3-54 - including 3-24 from her last seven overs at the top end after her first three went for 30.

SA need 92 from 36 balls.

  10. Du Preez departs for 12published at 19:38 British Summer Time 12 June 2018

Here's the first of that clatter of wickets - Mignon du Preez caught.

  11. SA 238-7published at 43 overs

    94 needed from 42 balls

Shabnim Ismail joins fellow pace bowler Kapp - this game is inexorably swinging England's way.

  12. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 42.4 overs

    Lackay c Knight b Marsh 0 (SA 237-7)

Sadly for Stacy Lackay, she's still looking for her first run in ODI cricket as she hits her second ball straight to captain Heather Knight.

  13. Third umpirepublished at 42.2 overs

    SA 236-6

Laura Marsh back into the attack, the first ball of her new spell is blasted over the bowler's head for four by Marizanne Kapp. Kapp then boldly takes on Katherine Brunt's arm in the deep as she goes for a second run - but the third ump says she's safe.

  14. SA 230-6published at 42 overs

    Target 332

Stacy Lackay, who made her ODI debut on Saturday and has not yet been required to bat or bowl in the 50-over format, may be something of a luxury as a specialist batter at number eight.

South Africa need 102 from 48 balls.

  15. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 41.4 overs

    Tryon c Wyatt b Ecclestone 44 (SA 229-6)

Another big wicket! Tryon attempts another big blast into the evening sky, but picks out Danni Wyatt coming round from long-on. 44 from 26 balls, three fours, four sixes, and plenty of entertainment.

There's a brief postscript as Wyatt throws the ball into the air in celebration while she is mobbed by her team-mates... and the ball hits Tryon - who is not amused - as she walks off the pitch.

  16. SA 227-5published at 41 overs

    Shrubsole 10-1-42-1

A single retains the strike. Tryon has 43 from 23 balls. SA need 106 from 54 balls.

And Shrubsole is done for the day. Her first eight overs cost 21... as did her last two.

    Charlotte Edwards
Ex-England captain on BBC Test Match Special

I can't believe none of these T20 teams have signed Tryon!

  18. 6 runs

    SA 226-5published at 40.3 overs

Powerplay finished, field goes back. Shrubsole is going to bowl out here - if England can nab Tryon, they may think the game is over.

Tryon? She's just whacked another six over extra cover!

  19. SA 216-5published at 40 overs

    Target 332

Marizanne Kapp the new bat for South Africa. She's more than capable of supporting Tryon and hitting a few lusty blows of her own.

SA need 116 more from 60 balls. Nearly two runs per ball.

  20. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 39.3 overs

    Du Preez c Elwiss b Ecclestone 12 (SA 214-5)

Thankfully for Georgia Elwiss, that drop didn't hurt England too much as when Du Preez goes aerial against Ecclestone again, Elwiss leaps into the air and this time the catch sticks! Elwiss and Ecclestone hug in mutual gratitude.
