  1. Hampshire 298-5published at 44 overs

    Vince 163, McManus 3

A big shout for Adam Lyth as he hits Lewis McManus on the front pad from around the wicket.

Not out says the umpire - it might just have pitched outside the line of leg stump.

It's still a very good over though, just two runs coming from the final ball.

Allen Cooper: I’d love someone to explain to me the logic of England’s one day players being able to play group stage matches in the RLODC but every season the QF and SF games clash with England ODIs. Surely this could be looked at? Devalues the competition a bit for me.

  3. Hampshire 296-5published at 43 overs

    Vince 163, McManus 1

Lewis McManus is the new man for Hampshire, the wicketkeeper ducking out of the way of his first ball after a single from James Vince.

He gets off the mark with a nudge into the leg-side from his second delivery, before Vince adds another one to finish the over.

A very good over that from Matt Fisher.

  4. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 42.2 overs

    Dawson c Lyth b Fisher 17 (Hampshire 292-5)

Liam Dawson is fortunate to survive Matt Fisher's first delivery, an attempted pull shot spooning up off the top edge but falling safe.

He tries another hook the very next ball and doesn't get so lucky, sending the ball straight down Adam Lyth's throat at mid-on.

  5. Hampshire 290-4published at 42 overs

    Vince 160, Dawson 15

Great bowling considering the circumstances from Adam Lyth, only five runs taken.

Hampshire are still looking at a score well over 350 though.

  6. 'A tough day at the office for Karl Carver'published at 41.2 overs

    Hampshire 287-4

    James Taylor
Ex-England batsman on BBC Radio 5 live sports extra

Karl Carver has taken some punishment, he's bowled six overs taken no wickets for 66, going at 11 runs an over.

He's had a tough day at the office but he hasn't been helped by the Yorkshire fielders, they have been really poor.

They have made it easy work for James Vince, not taking anything away from his innings which has been marvelous.

  7. Hampshire 285-4published at 41 overs

    Vince 158, Dawson 12

How different a game would this be if Yorkshire weren't without England bowlers Adil Rashid, Liam Plunkett and David Willey?

James Vince continues to make light work of the makeshift attack, 15 off Matt Fisher's latest over.

Adam Lyth will bowl his part-time off-spin from the other end. There could be fireworks.

  8. 150 runs

for James Vincepublished at 40.2 overs

James Vince is not slowing down.

He brings up his 150 from 112 balls as he smashes Matt Fisher over the top for six.

  9. Hampshire 270-4published at 40 overs

    Vince 145, Dawson 10

Karl Carver has another go for Yorkshire - I'm a little surprised Adam Lyth hasn't been given another go with the ball instead.

The left-armer is hit for three more boundaries by James Vince, though he has his fielders to blame for a pair of those.

Hampshire take 17 from the over, giving Carver figures of 0-66 from six overs. Surely that's the last we've seen of him today?

  10. Hampshire 253-4published at 39 overs

    Vince 131, Dawson 7

    Exceptional bowling from Ben Coad.

The Yorkshire seamer keeps it tight, just a single apiece for James Vince and Liam Dawson from his ninth over.

  11. Hampshire 247-4published at 38 overs

    Vince 130, Dawson 6

Another good Yorkshire over is spoiled a little by Liam Dawson, who hits his first boundary off Tim Bresnan's sixth delivery.

Still, it's only six from the over.

Here's a look at the moment which has given Yorkshire a bit of hope again, Sam Northeast's dismissal at the hands of Tim Bresnan.

  12. 'Timely wicket but it's not the man they want'published at 37.4 overs

    Hampshire 247-4

    James Taylor
Ex-England batsman on BBC Radio 5 live sports extra

Good from Ben Coad bothering that off-stump, Joe Weatherley just looking to get a little bit greedy and because he hasn't got the pace of this surface yet having only faced six balls in his innings he looked to guide it down and all he could do was get an inside edge onto leg stump.

Another timely wicket for Yorkshire but it's not the man they want, they desperately want that prize wicket of James Vince.

Nigel Goodwin: Yorkshire having to field their 3rd team with 5 players on England duty, so wish Hants would stop going on about Vince/Northeast playing for England as we all know Vince can’t do it at international level!

It's difficult to deny that it's been a pretty special innings from Vince though, Nigel.

  14. Hampshire 245-4published at 37 overs

    Vince 129, Dawson 1

It's a funny old game sometimes, cricket.

Hampshire have been magnificent with the bat to this point, but if Yorkshire can get one or two more quick wickets, they might just be able to hold Hampshire to a manageable target.

Only one run comes from that Ben Coad over, and Liam Dawson is kept on strike.

  15. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 36.1 overs

    Weatherley b Coad 3 (Hampshire 244-4)

It's not the one they really wanted, but Yorkshire will take any wickets they can get at this point.

Joe Weatherley is gone for just three, bowled by a Ben Coad delivery which cannoned into the stumps off the inside edge.

In comes Liam Dawson at number six.

  16. Hampshire 244-3published at 36 overs

    Vince 129, Weatherley 3

Karl Carver has had a pretty dreadful afternoon out there today.

The left-arm spinner is milked for a pair of singles before James Vince goes on the attack, hitting ball three for the first boundary, then smashing over the fielder at long-on for six.

Six more runs come from the final two balls - 16 in total.

  17. 'Timely wicket for Yorkshire'published at 35.1 overs

    Hampshire 229-3

    James Taylor
Ex-England batsman on BBC Radio 5 live sports extra

That is a timely wicket for Yorkshire, if they want to stem the flow of runs they desperately need to take wickets on what looks an excellent batting surface.

It was an excellent knock from Sam Northeast 58 off 56 balls, probably one shot too many and getting a little bit giddy.

  18. Hampshire 228-3published at 35 overs

    Vince 114, Weatherley 2

Any chance James Vince will apply the brakes now he's lost his batting partner?

    No, apparently not.

Vince drives Steve Patterson over mid-off for four from the first ball of the over, but Hampshire add only three more as Joe Weatherley takes over for final four deliveries.

Duke and Kookaburra: Maddening that Vince can't translate this carefree dominance onto the Test scene. He'd be our number 3 for the next seven or eight years.

David Grundy: what does Sam Northeast need to do to play for England? Probably play for Yorkshire first that seems to work for the other half of the one day team

  20. Hampshire 221-3published at 34 overs

    Vince 109, Weatherley 0

Joe Weatherley is the new man in, but it's James Vince to face the final three balls of the over.

Vince adds three more to his total, helped by another little mistake in the field.
