Northeast c Patterson b Bresnan 58 (Hampshire 218-3)
Yorkshire take a wicket at long last.
Sam Northeast scoops Tim Bresnan's delivery upwards, and Steve Patterson is on hand to take an easy catch at mid-off.
Vince 106, Northeast 52
Another expensive over, but one which perhaps ought to have brought a wicket.
James Vince is rapped on his back foot right in front of off-stump, but no lbw is given.
The umpire must have thought Vince had got his pad outside the line. It was very close.
Hampshire 218-2

An excellent innings from Sam Northeast, comeback from injury and he's taken off where he started before he got injured.
A brilliant knock, played second fiddle but he has put together a really strong partnership with his captain James Vince.
Hampshire 209-2
Sam Northeast brings up his half-century as he takes a liking to Steven Patterson's gentle pace bowling.
He follows up a slogged six into the leg-side with another four to more or less the same spot, reaching 50 from 51 balls.
Vince 106, Northeast 40
What are you aiming for from here, Hampshire fans? 350? 400 maybe?
Tim Bresnan keeps it relatively tight here, only six runs coming from the over.

A brilliant knock from James Vince, he's been incredible today.
He's hit the ball to all parts of the Ageas Bowl.
Hampshire 193-2
Flawless batting from James Vince.
The Hampshire batsman brings up his century from 83 deliveries, with 12 fours and one six.
He completes the ton in style with a measured pull shot behind square to the boundary.
Vince 90, Northeast 38
I think this is the right move from Steven Patterson.
Yorkshire have their two most likely wicket takers in the game, as Tim Bresnan concedes eight runs on his reintroduction to the attack.
It means fewer overs for Bresnan and Fisher in the final few overs, but Yorkshire simply have to break this partnership now.
Vince 84, Northeast 36
Back into the attack comes young seamer Matt Fisher.
The 20-year-old produces the best over we've seen in quite some time, perilously close to finding James Vince's outside edge as the Hampshire batsman tried to drive through the off-side.
Just three runs from the over, much more like it from the visitors.

Harrison Wilson: As a Kent fan you’ve asked the wrong question. It should instead read “what does Northeast need to do to get a place in the England side”
Vince 83, Northeast 34
Adam Lyth bowling from round the wicket again, he gets his length wrong to Sam Northeast.
The off-spinner bowls a short one with his third ball of the over and Northeast slashes through point for four more.
It's an 11-run over for Hampshire, who are in total control at this point.

Hampshire are batting beautifully at the moment, I'm enjoying watching James Vince bat, he makes it look so easy.
Vince 78, Northeast 28
A better over for Yorkshire, but Hampshire still take five runs from it.
Ben Coad might be straying a little too close to the pads, with only a sharp bit of fielding close to the rope preventing another leg-side boundary for Sam Northeast.
Vince 77, Northeast 24
It's not looking good for Yorkshire at the moment, is it?
New skipper Steve Patterson turns to opening batsman Adam Lyth's off-spin to try to get the run-rate down.
There isn't much turn out there though, James Vince taking advantage of a full delivery to drive elegantly through extra point to the boundary.
Nine runs from the over.
Vince 71, Northeast 21
Hmm, that's not great from Tim Bresnan in the field.
James Vince drives Ben Coad and Bresnan dives over the ball. It whistles to the boundary.
Yorkshire just can't stem the flow of runs as nine come off it.
Right, 25 overs is enough for me on a Monday - Josh Hunt will take you through the rest of the Hampshire innings.
Vince 63, Northeast 20
James Vince picks up length so quickly.
Karl Carver drops a fraction short and he swats him to the mid-wicket rope.
12 come from the over. Expensive from the Yorkshire spinner.
Hampshire 125-2

The big thing these days is to keep taking wickets through the middle and not just sit and try and bowl in dots.
The more wickets you can take the less firepower they are going to have at the end.
Vince 53, Northeast 18
Steven Patterson is a wily old bowler.
The tall paceman concedes just a single from his sixth and has gone for just 24 in total.
That's like gold dust in the context of this innings so far.

Tom Scarborough: Tragically, Vince will never make it back into England's limited overs sides, despite doing nothing wrong for them. If he wants back into the test side, he needs to work on that temperament. The talent and technique are fine.
Vince 52, Northeast 18
It's an improved second over from young spinner Karl Carver.
Five singles from it, but batting is looking ridiculously easy once again for this Hampshire pair.
