A great end to the innings from Hampshire, James Vince the star of the show today though, he been absolutely unbelievable.

I think Hampshire will be happy with 348 and they will be looking to defend it with a strong bowling attack which I think they have got.

Dale Steyn hits a beautiful drive down the ground for four, but swings and misses at a few Tim Bresnan efforts too.

He's eventually out trying to run a single after Gareth Berg played and missed, but Jonny Tattersall makes the easy throw at the stumps from his wicket-keeper spot.

Good bowling by Steve Patterson, who finishes with figures of 2-56.

  16. 'A real captain's innings'published at 14:11 British Summer Time 18 June 2018

    Charlotte Edwards
Ex-England captain on BBC 5 live sports extra

A special knock from James Vince, a real captain's innings, played beautifully all around the ground.

It was a really good catch at mid-on from Tom Kohler-Cadmore who did really well to not take himself back over the boundary rope.

  17. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 46 overs

    Vince c Kohler-Cadmore b Lyth 171 (Hampshire 313-6)

Adam Lyth has done a brilliant job for Yorkshire in these late overs, but he's punished for a slightly overpitched delivery on middle stump.

Lewis McManus opens up his shoulders and lofts the ball straight down the pitch for a big six.

But Lyth fights back to claim the prize wicket Yorkshire needed with his final ball, James Vince holing out to the long-on boundary for a magnificent 171.

    Charlotte Edwards

Absolutely loved watching James Vince today.

When you think of an emoji, I can only think of the one with the heart eyes.

It makes me think why he's not playing for England, I understand why he's not but he must be frustrated as anyone.

    Vince 170, McManus 3

James Vince bludgeons Matt Fisher for four, but the 20-year-old responds by holding Hampshire to just three more through the rest of the over.
