    Worcs 120 v Hampshire 191 & 155-6

That's a fine half-century from Tom Alsop in a low-scoring game at New Road.

He's put on 63 with Liam Dawson for the seventh wicket and Hampshire's lead now stands at 226.

    That might already be enough.

Peter Siddle is more than handy with the bat.

Somerset and Lancashire go to tea with the hosts needing another 26 for victory.

Lewis Gregory and Dom Bess have put on 15 - an absolutely crucial stand for the hosts.

    Don't go anywhere.

Time for a bit of spin at both ends as Matt Parkinson comes into the attack, replacing Lancashire seamer Graham Onions.

Somerset need 35 for victory, Lancashire require four wickets.

    I'm pretty sure that's a dropped catch.

Dom Bess tries to sweep Kesh Maharaj, gets an edge on it, but Dane Vilas can't cling on.

The South Africa spinner is all over the Somerset batsmen at Taunton.

Lancashire are probably favourites now. I can't believe I'm actually saying that.

Ben Green edges Kesh Maharaj to Karl Brown at second slip and it's 37-6.

Dom Bess comes in at eight with 41 still needed for victory. That seems a mile away at the moment.

The Somerset opener is on debut as he goes to nine with his second four off Keshav Maharaj. A lovely flick through mid-wicket.

First-innings hero Lewis Gregory is with him. 45 needed for victory, Lancashire require five wickets.

Paul B OK, as a Lancashire fan I'm enjoying this unexpected optimism, but what kind of pitch is this where a team is struggling to make 78 to win on the SECOND DAY?

Duncan This is the most absurd round of county cricket! Feels like roughly one thousand wickets have fallen since lunch.
