    Eng 364-4

Just when you thought England were going to pull off their highest ever ODI run chase without Jos Buttler, the explosive batsman is needed...for one ball.

He clips his first delivery sumptuously through mid-wicket for four and that's that.

England chase down 361 with aplomb. It's quite staggering how easy they made that look.

    Root c Pooran b Holder 102 (Eng 360-4)

Joe Root gives a frustrated swipe of that bat, perhaps just as annoyed by the shot as the fact it wasn't deemed a no ball.

That was a superb innings to build on Jason Roy's earlier century and take England to this (soon-to-be) victory.

It's close but I don't think that was too high. This will be out.

Right, so...Joe Root has smacked a full toss straight to square leg.

    He's been caught.

Or is it a no ball?

If it's a no ball then England have won.

    We're going to check upstairs...

    Scores level

Jason Holder strays down leg. That's a wide. Scores are level.

    Eng 359-3

And there it is! Joe Root has his 14th ODI century!

He brings up by slicing away through third man for four before jumping up and punching the air with a big, beaming grin.

    A quality innings.

And he doesn't. A leg bye to restore Joe Root to the strike on 98.

That's poor from Brathwaite. A wide.

It's a short ball and Joe Root gets over it to hook it away along the ground for another single.

A full toss from Carlos Brathwaite and Ben Stokes slices it away towards third man for a single.

Ben Stokes can't lay a bat on it - not that it's good bowling, mind, as Carlos Brathwaite sends down two wides.

    Carlos Brathwaite vs Ben Stokes.

Imagine if he hits him for three sixes in a row to win the match...

Ben Stokes taps a single from the last ball to keep the strike.

    Target 361

A brief lull but Ben Stokes breaks it by driving deliciously through the covers for four. Drilled.

  20. Eng 340-3published at 46.1 overs

Ben Stokes is surprised by the bounce from Oshane Thomas and loops the ball straight up. But it drops between the man at cover and the man in the deep.

    England ticking towards the target.
