  1. 50 runs

50 for Hetmyerpublished at 37.1 overs

Shimron Hetmyer rocks Tom Curran into the leg side, immediately calls two and gets it. Fine running.

And that's a fine 50 too, off 47 balls with three fours and two sixes.

Can he go postal to finish off and get West Indies to a challenging total?

Aidan Watson: Chris Gayle has the entertainment factor because he hits the biggest sixes, but as long as it gets over the rope they all count the same. Until they invent a 9 if you hit it out of the stadium I'm sticking with Roy, Bairstow and probably Hales as well.

    Run rate 5.27

Shimron Hetmyer tickles one fine and Adil Rashid does well with a rolling stop to keep it to two.

Mark Wood finishes up with a well-directed bumper that Darren Bravo just has to sway out the way of.

  4. 6 runs

    WI 192-3published at 36.2 overs

    Stand and deliver Shimron.

A bit short from Wood and Hetmyer flat-bat whacks it back over the bowler's head and into the stands.

  5. WI 185-3published at 36 overs

Tom Curran makes a fine return to the attack, conceding just five from the over.

And it'll be a double change for England - Mark Wood is readying himself to bowl the next over.

England are facing close to four hours in the field again...

  7. WI 180-3published at 35 overs

    Bravo 19, Hetmyer 40

He's conceded some wides by getting them wrong but Liam Plunkett continues to fox the batsmen with his slower-ball bouncer, giving Shimron Hetmyer no pace to work with.

He strays down leg this time though and that's poor, taking England's tally up to 11 wides for the innings.

  8. WI 175-3published at 34.1 overs

Good timing Phil. Jonny Bairstow has just made an athletic diving stop on the boundary to keep Shimron Hetmyer to one.

Gayle is one of the all time greats but right now I'd rather have Roy and Bairstow, just as destructive but also athletic and good in the field. Having said that, there have been plenty of England teams during Gayle's career that he would have walked straight into.

  10. WI 174-3published at 34 overs

Good response from Moeen, conceding just three more in singles off the over. But he's been a bit off today, bowling too short.

  11. 6 runs

    WI 171-3published at 33.1 overs

Moeen Ali drops short and Shimron Hetmyer hits with the breeze, leathering the ball into the stands over mid-wicket.

He's so much fun to watch.

No hint of bat on ball on Ultra-Edge. That wouldn't have been overturned anyway.

  13. WI 164-3published at 32.5 overs

Shimron Hetmyer goes for an flaying pull shot against a Liam Plunkett short ball and Jos Buttler goes up for caught behind.

Plunkett is keen too but nothing given. Plunkett makes the review signal before remembering England don't have one left.

Gayle has got as many ODI ducks as he has hundreds (24) so you wouldn't pick him on consistency!

  15. WI 161-3published at 32 overs

Terrific control from Moeen Ali, turning the ball towards the pads of this left-handed pair and only allowing them a couple of singles into the leg side.

Ah. Moeen drops a bit short on the last and Shimron Hetmyer steps back to slash through the covers. A decent diving stop means it's three instead of a boundary.

Shimron is committed to his floppy hat for the spinner, helmet for the seamer approach, changing once again at the end of the over. Maybe he just wants to show off his dye job? Fair play.

Gary Lane: No Gayle wouldn't. We have Jason Roy. And he can field as well.

Simon, London: Chris wouldn't get near this England team. You have to be able to field as well as bat.

AndyB: No Chris wouldn't get into this England team. He's not English.

    WI 156-3published at 31 overs

Bang! Shimron Hetmyer steps back to give himself room and frees the arms to clatter it back down the ground for four. That's the 150 up for the hosts.

Bang! Bang! Hetmyer again steps to leg, this time smacking it through the covers for four more.

An expensive over from Liam Plunkett, 12 from it.

    Time for a drink.

Liam Plunkett is coming back into the attack so Shimron Hetmyer has to remove his floppy hat, revealing the top of his hair is dyed orange, to don a helmet.

  20. WI 144-3published at 30 overs

    Bravo 14, Hetmyer 13

Shimron Hetmyer picks up that Moeen Ali has dropped a tad short very quickly and rocks back to swipe him between mid-wicket and long-on for four. Placed.
