    Target 359

That's better... a hint of width and Jason Roy belts it through the covers.

  2. Eng 5-0published at 1.4 overs

    Target 359

Left-arm quick from Pakistan at both ends - Shaheen taking the second new ball. Jason Roy doesn't seem to be enjoying the challenge of this angle, struggling to get the ball away. When he does, it's a bottom edge for four.

Asif Ali looks like he will almost certainly coming into Pakistan's squad for for the World Cup after two fifties in this series.

He looks like a player they have been missing at number six.

  4. England 1-0published at 1 over

    Target 359

Pakistan have an energy in the field... will that continue when/if Bairstow and Roy get going? For now, though, England are content to have a look at Junaid.

  5. Eng 1-0published at 0.3 over

    Target 359

There was talk of left-arm quick Junaid being the next Wasim Akram early in his career - especially once he came over to Lancashire for a spell in county cricket - but, for whatever reason, it's not worked out that way.

With a short, bustling run-up and quick arm, he hurries Jason Roy who appears happy to get off the mark with a single down to third man.

When chasing this kind of target, I know we are in a different era, it is not going to be easy.

But the boundaries are so small and the outfield is so quick that England will fancy their chances.

England, while expensive, did have their moments in the field, though. Chris Woakes was good with the new ball, Tom Curran showed some nifty footwork and also his canny knack of delivering the perfect yorker...
