Ben Stokes, a man in need of some time at the crease, is in at four for England.

It was a brilliant hundred. It was probably the worst ball he has faced all day. Maybe I am being harsh on the bowler. It had good pace.
Roy is a man in imperious form which makes me even more confident that this is the year for England.
Roy c Sarfaraz b Hasnain 114 (Eng 201-2)
Jason Roy's fun has come to an end!
He's annoyed with himself - this is a bit of a leg side strangle. The ball goes across him and he can't resist swatting at it. The ball clips the gloves and flies through to Sarfaraz, who takes a solid catch. Roy departs to a standing ovation.

That is nonchalance, bordering arrogance.
Roy 114, Root 34
Jason Roy moves to the leg side to give himself some room to swish at a 90mph Mohammad Hasnain delivery, the ball sneaking past bat and stumps and into Sarfaraz's gloves.
There's a lively appeal for lbw against Roy, Hasnain cranking his pace up, but Sarfaraz opts against the review. Roy's response is the deftest of dabs to third man for yet another four.

I'm in the pavilion. A lad with dark hair says "your shoelace is undone mate". It isn't. "Made you look though, didn't I?".
Trent Bridge: Come for the cricket, stay for the banter.
Target 341
Good response from Imad Wasim, just conceding one run after that dropped catch.
Pakistan have had better days in the field.
This is a dolly. Joe Root comes down the pitch, slams the ball to Junaid Khan at mid-off, the ball is travelling at a comfortable height - and he shells it.
Whoops. Joe Root gets down to sweep, and a poor bit of fielding on the rope, Mohammad Hasnain allowing the ball to slip through his fingers, sends it for four.
A reminder that the highest individual ODI score by an English batsman is Jason Roy's 180 that he made against Australia at the MCG last year.
Imad Wasim is on for a bit.
Daniel Norcross
TMS commentator
That is murderously brilliant from Roy. It never ceases to amaze me how he hit that.
Target 341
Double teapot time for Sarfaraz as a sloppy bit of fielding costs his side an extra run.
Oh, Jason Roy. He anticipates the Hasnain short ball and he stands tall, sending the ball over mid-on with a forehand that even Roger Federer would be impressed by.

Cheers, Matthew. There's a double ton very much on the cards for Jason Roy here.
Here's Mohammad Hasnain.
Roy 101, Root 28
Pakistan don't look like they have much to hurt England. Mohammad Hasnain has been their best bowler and is coming back. Can he make the breakthrough to give them a chance?
Amy Lofthouse is here to take this one home.
It's all going wrong for Pakistan now. Hassan Ali follows a wide with an even bigger wide and this one flies over Sarfaraz Ahmed's ahead behind the stumps.
The Pakistan captain just shakes his head.

It's really not a good idea to drop Jason Roy, is it?

Joe Root joins the party with with a lovely cut behind square. England are cruising yet again.
