Rachel T: Big Ben Strikes again! World Cup winner and Ashes Centurion at Lord’s. Brilliant.

Andi: Yes! Well done Ben Stokes! On the Lords honours board!

Tom Blakey: Five weeks ago today at Lord's, Ben Stokes saved our World Cup Final. Today, back at Lord's, and he could well have just saved our Ashes series. Tremendous century under ridiculous pressure.

No the right decision to bat on, because we have just seen one of the biggest sixes for some time from Stokes at Siddle.

Heck of a shot this one from Jonny, a mighty hit into the crowd at mid-wicket. It brings up the 250 lead and would have been an appropriate time to declare surely, but on we go.

Ben Stokes looks so pumped up! Wouldnt put it past him to take a 5-for and win the match single handedly.

Ben Stokes at Lord's on a Sunday just has a wonderful feel about it.

Just the single to Stokes this time and he is on 99. Root still has his blue England fleece on but I guess it won't take him long to don the whites.

He was only on 51 at lunch but Stokes has hit three fours and two sixes in this session already.

Brilliant improvisation from Stokes, a crouching flick off his pads at Hazlewood and it bisects the fielders to bring him four more. He's on 97 now.

This has the feel of a one day match now. Aggressive. Didn't we recently win a trophy in that format?
