Tim Paine has had 28 reviews now as Australia captain - only four of them have been correct. Only New Zealand's Kane Williamson has a lower percentage.

  2. Eng 113-4published at 41 overs

    Lead by 121

Stokes did try to pull Hazlewood through the leg side in that over. He missed but it was a bit of attacking intent.

One delivery from Hazlewood scuttles really low and Buttler makes it known by bending right down at the knees.

    England are doing alright.

Ben Stokes is playing with a mindset and an approach that suggests that England are looking at a number.

  4. Postpublished at 12:43 British Summer Time 18 August 2019

Stokes was dropped yesterday by Warner and had one where he would have been lbw had Australia reviewed. The Aussies have not been great with the DRS system.

If you think Australia have gone for that review, and they didn't go for either of the Nathan Lyon lbw shouts yesterday... it's strange.

  6. Not outpublished at 12:41 British Summer Time 18 August 2019

There's a slight worry when third umpire Joel Wilson seems to have not seen the big inside edge but he eventually makes the correct decision.

    It pitched outside leg too.

Not great from Australia. Or me. I was with them.

Stokes has smashed it! Panic over.

It looks close but Ben Stokes has just had a giggle at Tim Paine.

Stokes is giggling. Has he hit it?

  11. Australia reviewpublished at 12:40 British Summer Time 18 August 2019

Oh I thought this was close!

An inswinger from Josh Hazlewood hits Stokes' pad.

The umpire says no. Australia review.

A change of bowling. Josh Hazlewood replaces Patrick Cummins.

I don't like that. Beautifully bowled.

  14. Eng 112-4published at 40 overs

    Stokes 30, Buttler 12

    England will certainly hope not!

Stuart Broad has been all over Warner in this series but he could still have a big part to play.

Jos Buttler tries to play Lyon horribly against the spin and the ball skews away. Not his best shot.

It looks like Buttler got an inside edge. Good decision not to review from Paine.

That's the only ball that has really looked to cause any problems. The batsmen have been fairly comfortable.

  18. Eng 111-4published at 38.3 overs

The Aussies appeal for lbw this morning. Jos Buttler is hit on the pad by one that's angled in to him.

The Aussies reviews - or lack of - have been poor in this series but bowler Pat Cummins fancies it. Tim Paine signals that he thinks it was going down leg. They don't review.

    He'd definitely be in Slytherin.
