As the players march off for tea, Jofra Archer hangs back to give one of the stewards who is guarding the wicket during the break a massive bear hug. The two have a quick chat before Archer jogs in for his sarnies.

    Thanks Callum.

At the crease, with a bat, that man is unbeatable...

    That's me done for now.

I'll hand you over to Matt Henry.

This was right up there with the best shot of that session.

    Absolutely dismissive from Steve Smith.

    It's a very well-poised match.

England have hung in well and just about got themselves into this game.

They have to have a chat, a shower and come out after tea all guns blazing.

For me, it has to be Jofra Archer and Jack Leach working in tandem to try and get three or four quick wickets.

Hmm Australia were 2-92 in that session.

Who's ahead at this point or is it honours even?

Much better from Broad to end the over but Mitchell Marsh is solid in defence.

    That will be tea.

  10. Aus 147-4published at 43.5 overs

Absolute dross from Stuart Broad and Mitchell Marsh smashes him to the point boundary.

    Woeful delivery.

  14. Aus 143-4published at 43 overs

Mitchell Marsh tucks a single into the leg side before Steve Smith shoulders his arms to Curran's final delivery.

The left-armer hasn't caused Smith as many problems post-lunch.

Sam Curran is just bowling into Steve Smith's arc by coming round the wicket.

  16. Aus 142-4published at 42.2 overs

Shot! Too full from Sam Curran - who has decided to come round the wicket - and he's thumped back through mid-off for a glorious four from Steve Smith.

Smith then tucks off his hip for a single.

Steve Smith and Graeme Smith? Maybe an orthodox technique is overrated in England.
