Target 399
Left-arm spinner Jack Leach is bowling from over the wicket and tossing the ball up outside Marsh' leg stump. The problem with that is Marsh can't be out lbw. He is just kicking the ball away.
The first time Marsh uses his bat in the over he almost gets out, chopping the ball down into his boot.

Jofra Archer clearly relishes bowling at Matthew Wade.
Target 399
If this is to be the final day of the summer, it's typical that we have one more nasty Jofra Archer bouncer. It hits Matthew Wade on the back and will cause a sizable bruise. Remember when Archer hit Hashim Amla right back in May? We've been through a bit since then.

My brother in-law's creation of the word Smicket cost me two pints. If it gets into the dictionary, how much would that cost me?

Matthew Wade takes the partnership to 50 with a pull down to fine leg.
Fair to say Mitchell Marsh has had a few lives now...
The crowd has perked up with Archer bowling. He has that effect on people.

Chris A: Never understood why it’s five runs if it hits the keeper’s helmet when he’s not wearing it. No-one runs five, and it’s inconceivable that a ball that’s scuttled onto helmet on the ground could ever go for a six. Should be four runs only!
Target 399
This is turning into a frustrating partnership for England, especially since they should have dismissed Marsh but for the no-ball. There's an optimistic appeal for lbw against Marsh from Leach.
Joe Root turns back to Jofra Archer to try and get the breakthrough...
Cheeky...

James Beswick: Bairstow's helmet making a claim to open for Australia - halfway to scoring Warner's average for the series...
Wade 43, Marsh 14
I had wonky wallpaper in my old bedroom because of that 2009 Ashes Test. Had TMS on while we put it up but had to run downstairs every time Broad took a wicket. It ended up being quite a lot of exercise.
Another good over from Woakes, which could have brought about a wicket, is spoiled by a flicks off the pads for four at the end of the over.

That direct hit from Broad had shade of Flintoff doing similar on this ground in the fifth Ashes Test in 2009. Broad took a hatful in that game....
Wade was well in.

I think he was well and truly in.
A Stuart Broad direct hit...
England don't look that confident but we're going upstairs for the run-out.

Parried over the bar!
It might not have even been possible for Rory Burns to catch this. He isn't the tallest and stretches as high as he can to catch the ball off Marsh's edge but only gets his fingertips on it.
Really tough.
Oh no!
