We're about to get back under way again. The England players have just wandered back down the steps.

Paul Atkinson: Interesting to compare the dominance of Smith with Bradman in the Australian side. In this series so far Smith has scored 32% of all his side's runs. Bradman in 1930 had 36%. After that England resorted to 'leg theory'.
This could well be the final day of this extraordinary cricketing summer. It has got us thinking about our favourite moments. There are so many to chose from.
The World Cup final, Stokes at Headingley, Stokes' catch v South Africa or Jason Roy planting Australia's bowlers into the Edgbaston stands in the semi-final. They are just a few options for England fans.
Let me know your favourite moment of the summer.
For as long as this man is there England fans won't be totally confident...
Steve Smith and Marnus Labuschagne once again held England up but, shortly before lunch, Jack Leach chipped in with a big wicket to remove Labuschagne.
Look at those hands from Bairstow!

But then it was back over to Stuart Broad v the Australia openers. The England seamer once again was the winner.
David Warner was sent on his way with the worst record EVER by an opener to have batted for 10 or more innings in a series.
Just joining us?
If you had a lie in this morning then you may have missed England's brisk few overs of batting.
It was action-packed. They didn't add too many more runs before being bowled out.
Thanks Jack.
This summer seems to be drawing towards a close. England look to be edging closing to winning this game but Steve Smith is still there.
Right, I'm off for lunch myself.
Matthew Henry will steer you through the afternoon session.
If I don't see you later, England have won.
Cheers.

I nipped up to the score box before play to have a nosy out of their window. Is there anything more satisfying than this?

It is just down to one player. England know if they get Steve Smith out in the afternoon then this will finish quite quickly today.
Smith is the one player who could take this into tomorrow. I don't see how Australia can win the game.

Jim Chapman: At 2-2 couldn't we settle the Ashes with six-ball bowl off - imagine the drama.

Target 399
A skittish Matthew Wade somehow survives that maiden over from Jack Leach.
A solid morning session from England, adding a few more runs to set Australia 399 to win.
Stuart Broad, on song again, removed both Marcus Harris and David Warner (of course).
And then Jack Leach got the key wicket of Marnus Labuschagne, stumped via some fine work by Jonny Bairstow.

Wade's come out playing shots. He wants to be proactive and take it to Leach.
Matthew Wade almost gets beaten by Jack Leach in the flight before jamming his bat down in time.
He then rocks back to third and nearly nicks it behind.
Jonny Bairstow gives him a right old stare.

Do people still think that Bairstow isn't a quality wicketkeeper?

This England team needs to train the brain to score big, big runs. 300 doesn't win games like it does in England. You need 450-500 to win in Australia.
Smith 18, Wade 10
Sam Curran goes round the wicket to Steve Smith, who clips off his pads for one.
Matthew Wade carts the last through the covers for two.
We'll get in one more over before lunch.
