In steams Mitchell Starc and his first delivery hits Najibullah Zadran in the gap between pad and thigh pad. That will hurt. Najibullah winces in pain but is able to continue.

He doesn't look comfortable facing Starc at all but does manage to squeeze one off his pads fine for four. He then nudges the ball into the onside for a single. Gulbadin Naib completes the over with a wild slap straight down the ground for four.

That over got better as it went on for Afghanistan.

It's probably the worst ball he's bowled but Najibullah just opened his wrists there to hit it through mid-off. He looked very dodgy against Pat Cummins but he's settling now.

Najibullah Zadran looks much more comfortable facing spin. Adam Zampa's third delivery is too full and Najibullah is quick on it, driving beyond mid-off for four.

Nathan Coulter-Nile responds well to being hit for four. His final ball of the over is a bouncer that Najibullah Zadran successfully evades.

Nathan Coulter-Nile comes into the attack and that's well played by Najibullah. It's short and wide but cut away nicely through point for four.
