  1. Ban 183-4published at 34 overs

Need 203 to win from 16 overs

Bangladesh may lose today but I think they will beat some good teams before the end of this tournament.

Shakib is the competition's leading run-scorer.

Ben Wire: Again Bangladesh impress. Can't see them winning but Shakib is a world-class act

Here are the two wicket wickets that have put England back in control...

  4. Ban 182-4published at 33 overs

You can't begrudge Shakib that moment. He has batted excellently and got a lovely round of applause from the crowd.

He really is an extraordinary player for consistency. The rate that he has scored too, without appearing to accelerate.

  6. 100 runs

100 for Shakibpublished at 32.3 overs

    Well batted, Shakib Al Hasan.

He is having some World Cup. Unlike his previous two scores he has turned this fifty into a hundred. It comes from 95 balls.

There's no big celebration. Shakib doesn't even take off his helmet as he knows there's an awful lot to do but a fine innings nonetheless.

  7. Ban 178-4published at 32.2 overs

Shakib is back on strike. A chant goes around the ground from the Bangladesh fans.

  8. Ban 177-4published at 32.1 overs

Good fielding from Chris Woakes. He keeps the pressure on Shakib Al Hasan by keeping him down to one.

  9. Postpublished at 17:01 British Summer Time 8 June 2019

    Jofra Archer is back.

  10. Ban 176-4published at 32 overs

    Need 211 more to win

Shakib keeps the strike at the end of the over and now has 98 to his name.

You can see the bounce that wicket has put in Adil Rashid's step. Good on him.

  11. Ban 174-4published at 31.4 overs

Oooo. Shakib would have thought that was his century. He nails a full toss from Rashid but picks out the fielder on the boundary.

  12. Ban 172-4published at 31 overs

    Shakib 96, Mahmudullah 2

Shakib Al Hasan edges a couple closer to his hundred. The crowd must be confident because a Mexican wave is going around the ground. That's usually a sign there's not too much tension.

Earlier on Bangladesh tried to attack Rashid (see below) so he'll have enjoyed that wicket.

It's looking a steep task now for Bangladesh, those couple of quick wickets were just what England needed to put the pressure back on.

  15. Ban 170-4published at 30 overs

    Shakib 96, Mahmudullah 0

I'm not sure what the win predictor is right now but it'll have moved even further in England's favour.

Bangladesh need 217 from the last 20 overs with six wickets left. That'd be some effort in a T20.

Something we have talked about all day is batsmen giving themselves a few balls to get themselves in and second ball Mithun has tried to heave a really nice ball over mid-on - and a really smart catch by Jonny Bairstow.

    Mithun c Bairstow b Rashid 0 (Ban 170-4)

Two quick wickets! Mohammad Mithun tries to heave Adil Rashid for six on his second ball - quite foolishly I must add - and edges through to Jonny Bairstow. It's a good catch for England more than capable but stand-in wicketkeeper, with the bat swishing in front of him and a decent edge.

That's a nice wicket for Rashid too and will give him some confidence after a difficult couple of games.

England have been a lot better today, not just the actual fielding but the way they have buzzed round the field has been good.

  19. Postpublished at 16:51 British Summer Time 8 June 2019

Shakib is still there on 94. Mohammad Mithun, who has made a few decent scores in this World Cup so far, is there with him.
