  1. Pak 10-1published at 4 overs

    Target 308

Starc and Cummins haven't found the same movement as the Pakistan bowlers did. It didn't go big for Pakistan but just a little.

It is certainly a lot brighter than it was at 10:30 this morning and some of the moisture around the ground will have gone away.

  2. Pak 10-1published at 3.3 overs

That's the loudest cheer for a while. Mitchell Starc tries the short ball to Imam-ul-Haq but the left-hander is there and pulls over the head of mid-wicket for four.

Pat Cummins has bowled more dot balls in this competition than any other bowler.

  4. Pak 6-1published at 3 overs

    Target 308

Pakistan would take it if they were only one down at the end of Starc and Cummins' first spell, wouldn't they? Maybe even two wickets down.

There's still a long way to go for that to happen.

  5. How's stat?!published at 14:50 British Summer Time 12 June 2019

There have been 82 instances of a team scoring 300+ runs in the first innings of an ODI and losing, Australia on the losing side 11 times, the third most of any side.

  6. Pak 6-1published at 2.5 overs

Four! Babar Azam is hanging back, clearly waiting for the short ball, and drives in the air. There's a big gap with the slips and short leg in place and the ball goes for four.

That is Fakhar's second duck in his last four innings. In his last 20 ODI innings he has had nine scores of three or less.

  8. Pak 2-1published at 2.4 overs

The bouncer hasn't come yet. Three defensive strokes from Babar...

  9. Pak 2-1published at 2.2 overs

Yep. You know what's coming, Babar. A short leg comes in under the lid.

Third man used to be a lovely place to graze peacefully but now catches go there all the time, you can't relax anymore.

    Fakhar c K Richardson b Cummins 0 (Pak 2-1)

Gone this time! Fakhar Zaman slashes in typical style but can't control his shot. The ball flies off the outer part of his part and is caught at third man.

    A blow for Pakistan early.

Carey was convinced, the slips were convinced but Starc wasn't bothered!

  15. Pak 2-0published at 2 overs

    Target 308

Settle down, Pakistan fans. For a second this looks and sounds like a regulation edge through to the wicketkeeper but it has flicked pad not bat. The umpire is unmoved.

  16. Pak 2-0published at 1.4 overs

Careful. The last thing Pakistan need is a run out. This opening pair treat us to be a bit of yes, no, yes, no but get back into their ground safely.

Four dots in a row from Mitchell Starc. The pressure builds a little.

That was a beauty that turned Fakhar right round. It moved off the pitch.

  19. Pak 2-0published at 1 over

    Target 308

I've bigged up Pakistan's chances but that right there shows the difficult of their challenge. Pat Cummins ends his over with one that just nips away and Fakhar Zaman can't lay bat on it.

    Tidy start.

  20. Pak 2-0published at 0.4 overs

The first runs off the bat go to Imam-ul-Haq. He flicks one down to fine leg for a single.
