  1. Aus 176-1published at 27.3 overs

Full toss from spinner Shoaib Malik. Warner rattles the ball to the boundary. There was a poor attempt of a stop on the 30-yard circle too.

  2. Aus 172-1published at 27 overs

    Warner 67, Smith 8

Another testing over from Mohammad Amir. Just three from it but he wanders off the field and into the pavilion after the sixth delivery. That's obviously a worry.

I'd like to see Taunton host a men's Test match one day. If you get someone like Bangladesh touring and ticket sales being an issue I'd love to see them bring a Test match here.

  4. Aus 169-1published at 26.1 overs

    Back to the other game.

Mohammad Amir beats Warner yet again. He is carrying Pakistan on his shoulders.

  5. Aus 169-1published at 26 overs

    Warner 64, Smith 8

Shoaib Malik is into the attack. It looks like Australia have a clear plan to whack the spinners. Steve Smith has a heave at the offie but doesn't connect.

That was a corker of a delivery. Amir keeps producing them but he just isn't getting the wickets.

Perfect timing. Jack's internet has gone down on his computer. You'll have to put up with me for a bit longer.

  8. Aus 165-1published at 25 overs

Amir ends the over with another ripper. He has been unlucky to be fair.

Australia look set for a big score.

Jack Skelton will take you through the rest of this innings.

    That sums up Pakistan's day.

  10. Not outpublished at 24.5 overs

Sarfaraz should have trusted himself. It hit Warner six inches outside the line of off stump.

  11. Postpublished at 12:19 British Summer Time 12 June 2019

This has hit Warner a long way outside off stump. It won't be out.

I think it hit him outside off stump and there might even have been an inside edge.

  13. Pakistan reviewpublished at 24.5 overs

    More probing stuff from Amir.

He appeals for lbw to David Warner.

Sarfaraz shakes his head to his bowler first but then is persuaded to review.

The one positive for Pakistan is the wicket they have...

Aaron Finch had looked very dangerous...

  16. Aus 163-1published at 24 overs

    Run rate 6.79

The ground is close to silent now as Smith hits his first boundary, the third of the over. I'm disappointed with Pakistan. How must their fans be feeling?

A little more punch but the same result.

  19. Aus 157-1published at 23.2 overs

Another half volley. Warner hits it for four again. Captain Sarfaraz Ahmed runs down for a word with his bowler.

  20. Aus 153-1published at 23.1 overs

    Urgh.

    That is Pakistan's problem.

Amir builds pressure from one end and then the first ball of the next over is smacked for four by David Warner.
