  1. 6 runs

    Aus 129-0published at 20.3 overs

    That's big.

Aaron Finch jigs around in his crease and launches the ball into the stands. He fancies the spin of Mohammad Hafeez.

It looks like Pakistan will be facing a big run chase and we've seen in this World Cup so far that if you can get runs on the board it is really not easy for the chasing team.

  3. Aus 122-0published at 20 overs

Both Finch and Warner are wandering down the pitch to Hassan Ali. Tighter but five from the over.

It still looks bitterly cold in the stands. There's a lady with her coat zipped up to her nose with a woolly hat on.

Pakistan are on the defensive now and this is where Australia can be lethal.

  5. Aus 117-0published at 19 overs

    Run-rate 6.16

Pakistan's fans had been kept quiet in the last few overs but they chant again, despite Mohammad Hafeez having a second over when his first cost 15.

This is a better with just three runs and a leg bye.

    Australia's fine start builds.

This is Aaron Finch's 36th half-century in 109 ODIs, of which he has hit 13 hundreds.

  7. Aus 113-0published at 18 overs

    Finch 61, Warner 41

Shaheen's hands are thrown onto his head after he beats Finch with a good 'un. More of that please.

Pakistan just haven't been consistent enough to build the pressure around the good balls.

I guess they were a little unlucky this didn't go their way...

Thankfully for Pakistan, Warner picks out the fielder with the free hit.

The wheels are well and truly coming off for Pakistan.

Left-arm quick Shaheen Afridi has now bowled a no-ball.

Ramiz Raja's rage builds even more...

I don't understand Pakistan dropping Shadab Khan. This attack is very samey now. You don't drop your potential match-winner.

It's not like Australia would have dropped Shane Warne just because it was a green seamer.

  13. Postpublished at 11:45 British Summer Time 12 June 2019

Pakistan have bowled some very good balls but they have bowled some rubbish too.

    And then there is this.

Aaron Finch should have been out for 26. He's now on 59.

    Ouch.

Ramiz is still going with his rant. He's not happy.

This is appalling from Pakistan. They've dropped short, bowled wide and dropped a sitter in the slips.

    I'm fuming actually. I shouldn't be talking.

  16. drinks break

    Aus 107-0published at 17 overs

    Finch 59, Warner 38

That's drinks. Australia are flying. This start is surely far better than they were expecting in these conditions.

Ramiz Raja has just come onto commentary on TMS and it's fair to say he is not impressed with what he has seen from Pakistan.

Huge hit. He took a look at the spinner then whack.

  19. 6 runs

And now Aaron Finch smacks one over mid-wicket into the stands. There's no spin and that's just hitting practice.

  20. 50 runs

50 for Finchpublished at 16.4 overs

Back-to-back boundaries for Aaron Finch. One smashed down the ground through the legs of Hafeez and the second cut through point.

Excellent batting. Australia are going very well.
