Man of the match Shakib: "It feels great, I have been working on my batting for the last month and it has been paying off. It was a team effort, we had the belief that if we bat well we could chase it down.

"I know at three I will get more opportunities and more time to bat. I need to contribute with the ball as well, I am doing ok but I can get better."

(A third successive hundred?) "It will be tough, especially against Australia, so we have to bring our A-game.

"Our fans have been fantastic throughout this World Cup."

John Leung: Folks, Bangladesh has at last arrived at world cricket’s top table. Dismissing Chris Gayle for a duck, chasing 321 down with 8 overs left. Welcome, Bangladesh, and not a moment too soon.

As a Windies fan, this has been an embarrassing effort with the ball. Same old same old and Bangladesh have hammered us.

They have got to re-think this bowling line-up. It worked very well against Pakistan - it hasn't really worked since.

I don't want to pick on Shai Hope, he's a very good player. But there were 52 dot balls in his innings today. That's not good enough.

All I can say it was a total massacre for the West Indies. 322 looked sort of imposing but it turned out to be maybe 100 runs short! Totally outplayed, well done to Bangladesh but the West Indies bowlers were very ordinary.

I've thoroughly enjoyed watching Bangladesh in this tournament so far.

I thought they were brilliant against South Africa in their opening game and were again today.

It has been an extremely poor performance from the West Indies from the very first delivery. The plan they had to bowl short and aggressively didn't work, but they never abandoned it.

I think we all thought the game was on at the break, but no-one had chased more than 244. We are focusing on the shortcomings of the West Indians but this has been a superb partnership.

This is a disaster. I've been saying this from before the World Cup started, these bowlers we have cannot contain and there you go.
